Dr. Courtney Hammerel, MD

Dr. Hammerel took the time to get to know me, and to gain a thorough understanding of my concerns. We discussed her throughts and she gave lots of valuable information during my visit. More information then I could have asked for to feel confident that I have a caring, smart, new doctor, and it eased my anxiety of going to the gyn.

I went in for a follow-up visit after a miscarriage. She spoke so quickly I barely had any time to answer her questions let alone ask my own. When she asked me how everything was since my last visit, I didn’t even finish telling her what was happening and she was moving onto the next order of business. She went way, way too fast during the physical exams and had no patience for my discomfort saying “well it doesn’t feel good for anyone.” The whole appointment felt incredibly rushed and insincere. I was not listened to whatsoever.

She is simply amazing. She listens when you have concerns and makes sure to take the time to look in to what they are. She handles situations accordingly. She is honestly very sweet and professional. All I needed was someone to help me and she was there.... When I go, I request her. If she's not in the OR , neither am I. I've had a quite a few surgical procedures done but now... I WILL stay in pain and wait until she's there because I simply trust her. With my current situation.. that's a big deal to me. I am extremely thankful for her! 10 stars for sure !
