Very Professional and Caring

Dr Messerschmidt is amazing!!
Dr Messerschmidt listens and suggest alternatives to surgery, keeping it as a last option which I greatly appreciate!! The whole staff is very nice and caring!

Kind & Reassuring
He listened and reassured me I was doing well. Recovery is progressing nicely. I admit I am not a patient person. Time is needed. Follow up in 6 weeks. I felt better after seeing him.

Excellent visit.
Dr. Messerschmidt has a very reassuring bedside manner. He took time to listen to all my complaints and to answer all my questions. I believe his diagnosis and treatment were complete and correct. I was very pleased Dr. Messerschmidt administered my cortisone shot himself rather than have an assistant do it, as other doctors have done. I'm very thankful I chose him as my doctor.

Kind and Competent
Although it was the Monday after a long holiday, I was seen quickly. The x-ray tech, Rachel, and Dr, Messerschmidt were kind and competent. They listened to my concerns and put me at ease. Aging is a journey, and new aches and pains are often dismissed by physicians. I appreciated the care and concern from Dr. Messerschmidt. I feel I will make progress and be able to resume a more active lifestyle under the care of Dr. Messerschmidt and his team.

Fantastic bedside manner
The Dr entered the room and I felt immediately at easy. He saw that I had been reading, and asked what I was reading. He brought the Xray up on the computer and explained in detail what the X-ray showed. He spend time explaining the difference in the pain and where it hurt the most. The conclusion of this visit is to have a CAT scan revisit the Dr in 4 weeks.

Personable, Empathetic and Knowledgeable
The intelligence of Dr. Messerschmidt is always balanced with empathy. He is personable and professional -- listens well, communicates clearly, and is respectful of time concerns for the patient and the efficiency of his well-run office. The care I have received from him and his staff always feels genuinely personalized.

Great Doctor
I went to find out about a MRI on my knee. Thought I just had a meniscus tear. Doctor explained I had a more serious condition, meniscus root tear. He explained everything in plain English.

Wonderful staff. Appointment was taken back just before 8:15. Did not have to sit in the waiting room way passed my appointment like you usually have to do at other doctors offices. Dr Messerschmidt is a very great, thorough, and knowledgeable doctor. Explains everything thoroughly. Highly recommend Dr Messerschmidt.

Great Dr.
My husband had a total knee replacement in Nov. 22. It went wonderful, and he was released after 6 weeks. Have had no problem since. I had something start hurting on my knee, went to E.R., and was put in a leg brace for a week, went to see Messerschmidt after the week. He checked me over completely, very thorough, truthful, and great bedside manner! I trust his diagnosis, and feel confident he will help again if we ever need him. TOC is a great place for all your Ortho needs.
