Where Was Dr Scannell When I needed him?
Dr Scannell used to be my primary doctor. I enjoyed my doctor visits with him as I thought that he was very charming. Then he seemed to have disappeared out of thin air when I needed him most. In 2021 I was very sick with Covid pneumonia and I spent 17 nights at Holy Cross Hospital even though I was fully vaccinated against Covid. I tried to contact Dr Scannell but to no avail. I needed him but he was nowhere to be found. Later I heard alleged allegations that Dr Scannell had gone off to Ireland for 3 weeks without telling anyone. I nearly died and suddenly I had no primary physician to look after me. Before being discharged from the hospital I did find a fantastic primary physician through a friend’s recommendation and I still have this physician today and he is fantastic. No more Dr Scannell I’m now happy to report.

Dr Scannell is a fantastic physician
He is knowledgeable,compassionate and very caring physician who takes time to listen to his patience. After a bad experience with my former primary I was very lucky to have found him

Dr. Scannell is the best doctor I've ever seen. The breadth and depth of his knowledge across multiple specialties is like nothing I've seen. His clinical demeanor is outstanding: he put aside his computer, sat down and listened to me without interruption. Then he responded with a level of both empathy and expertise that made me feel like I was his only patient. His office staff is very small given patient load but EXTRAORDINARY as well.

dr scanell and his office staff are always amazing. They are the greatest combination of friendly and professional and have earned my complete trust for my medical care. I have also referred many colleagues and friends who feel the same as I do.

The Dr is useless . I have major medical Problems and moved from New York . He was referred from a friend . Never returned my calls and left me out in the cold. Nice professional medical guy NOT !

Dr. Scannell was recommended to me by a nurse at Holy Cross Hospital. He was exceptional. Great knowledge, very caring with great bedside manners and extremely efficient. I am glad that I found him as my PCP.
