My son's Care
My first contact with ms Newman, she was meeting myself and my wife for the first time, reviewing a care plan for our son. my son has colorectal cancer. during this encounter she became very angry yelled at our son and us. When I asked her to help me understand the terminology she was using her response was for me sit down, shut up and she would use small words so even I can understand. what a horrible experience. for my wife and I. ms Newman should receive a reprimand, and is in need of training and anger management control.

Dr.Newman treated my elderly father and guided our family thru the most challenging health decisions imaginable. She was extremely compassionate and relatable in sharing her expert medical diagnoses and treatment recommendations. I would very highly recommend her as a physician and cancer expert. I personally would seek her in my own personal care should I ever need it. Doctors like Dr. Newman are very rare and I’m so grateful she practices here in Spokane WA!

I have been treated by Dr. Newman since 2014 for colon cancer, stage 4, metastisized to liver and lymph nodes. I am beyond pleased with her treatment. She is extremely knowledgable. I found her easy to talk with and would answer any questions I had, especially explaining the medical terminology I did not understand. She is always open to discuss ALL treatment options and wants to know what I want to do and what I don't. She is professional and compassionate ! Her staff is equally as good and I recommend them highly. She and her staff have kept my spirits up for 8 years as I continue to go thru this journey that is cancer.

The first thing she said when she walked in the door was "I don't know why they referred you to me." I think she made her mind up that I was in the wrong place. She mistook swollen lymph nodes in my neck for a swollen muscle. It might be that she spends more time treating cancer than diagnosing, however I don't think she knows much about lymphoma or other blood cancers, which I am now being sent to a specialty clinic for a work-up.

Dr. Newman and her staff are very caring and professional. From the first visit I had a true sense that their only goal was to make me healthier (which they did). I never had doubts or questions that were not answered. I'm not glad I have cancer, but I am glad there are Doctors of Corliss Newmans character and quality here to help. I very highly recommend her and her staff.
