Dr. Corey Wright at Mary Washington General Surgery near Central Park met with my father and I for a consult regarding repairing an inguinal hernia for my my 82 year old Dad. Then after my dad was cleared by his cardiologist, Dr. Wright surgically repaired my 82 year old father's inguinal hernia on Tuesday. We are three days post op, and my dad is doing amazing and is so relieved and appreciative of the care he received. Dr. Wright was professional, kind, respectful, patient, and detailed in our communications and he was stellar in the actual surgery. What was supposed to be an excruciatingly painful post op recovery time, my Dad has had only a few times his pain was bad and even that has been a 5 on a 10 point scale, which is amazing. His surgical sites look amazing and he is so relieved to have this surgery completed without complications. I highly recommend this surgeon if you have a similar need. PS His hospital staff were excellent as well.

Dr Wright performed multiple operations on my wife when she was in septic shock from a ruptured bowel. He performed emergency surgery once admitted to MWH. Once surgery was completed, Dr. Wright spent roughly 40 minutes in waiting room explaining what he found, plan of care for next 24 hours and answered questions to include his prognosis for my wife’s critical condition.
