I've been treated by Dr Walker for many years for RA. He is a great physician and listens well, monitors progress and is friendly and good to work with.

As far as Rheumatology and western medicine goes, Dr. Walker is the best. I found him to be sincere, interested, helpful, and supportive. He listened, and he knew about specific things I asked about, which other rheumatologists had not been able to identify before. I believe he took good care of me. As far as scheduling and office experience, I was seeing him 10 years ago for 10 months, so I don't know about the current experience, but I know he switched from the office where I used to see him.

ABSOLUTELY the best, most knowledgeable, through Rheumatologist in the ares of Idaho, Ut & WY. I lived in Idaho/drove 3 hours to see Dr Walker. I moved to WY/unable to find a decent RA Dr as knowledgeable as Dr Walker I drive 3 /2 hours for continued care with him. If not for him I would be in a wheelchair. Because of his care I enjoy things with family and friends. He has genuine care of patients/his humor side puts me at ease. I love this Dr & wished ALL my Dr were same! He tells like it is!

Dr. Walker is an excellent doctor. I have been a patient of his for 10 years and he has made it possible for me to have a productive life. He spends as much time is needed in the examination room with me Until my questions and concerns have been resolved. He shows compassion and concern for his patients and I feel like I'm getting the best care with him as my doctor.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Walker?
Dr. Walker was absolutely and completely a young, arrogant, and pompous doctor. He could not have had less compassion. Don't go see him unless you already have a diagnosis or you are a patient who is easy to diagnose. I drove from quite a distance to seem him and he could have cared less. He, in my opinion, wants to just make money, doesn't listen to questions or concerns, and makes personal judgments which were completely unprofessional. If you are overweight, REALLY don't go to him!!!!!!

He is the worst! He showed absolutely no interest in me or the in the pain I am experiencing. He made me feel like every question I asked was stupid. He asked me to select a course of treatment without even describing them or the possible side effects. I will do everything I can to get in with another rheumatologist.

Dr Walker seemed more concerned about the broken air conditioning than me as a patient. He hardly examined me, absolutely no testing, before he came to a conclusion.

Best doctor ever!!! I drive 2.5 hours to see him as do many friends from my area with similar issues. He keeps my severe RA under control. He's very knowledgeable and stays up on the latest treatments. He always makes me feel like he really cares about me and how I am feeling. He takes plenty of time with me and never acts rushed. He's a great listener . I feel 100% confident recommending him to everyone I know and love. I'll never go anywhere else! SO grateful he is around!!!

I was absolutely disgusted with him, he was rude dismissive and uninterested. It was only after I had waited months for an appointment I found out he has a terrible reputation with a RA/Lupus support group and another woman told me she would never go back, she travels 60 miles to see somebody else. Since my experience several people have told me he was arrogant and did not treat like their issues were legitimate and they would not go back either
