Dr. Corey Gilbert is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon! I recently saw him for a rotator cuff tear, and I was thoroughly impressed.He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained all my treatment options clearly and concisely. Dr. Gilbert's friendly and compassionate demeanor immediately put me at ease. He listened attentively to my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. I left his office feeling confident in the care plan we established.Overall, my experience with Dr. Gilbert was amazing. Highly recommend him to anyone seeking a top-notch orthopedic surgeon!

Dr. Gilbert & his entire team were all professional, knowledgeable & informative with me regarding my knee procedure pre / post surgery. As a result, I was very relaxed & comfortable going into surgery. Dr. Gilbert repaired both the ACL & MCL tears in my right knee with no complications.

Dr. Gilbert took me through every step of my surgery. He explained the procedure detail for detail. He was so wonderful and considerate to me and my family. He made me feel very comfortable; I was anxious about the anesthesia before entering the operating room. I arrived in the room, and he had one of my favorite gospel songs playing. It put a big smile on my face, and I completely calmed down. I appreciate his professionalism and his excellent bedside manner. I believe he is an asset to the Kaiser Team!!

I had to have two labrum repairs and Dr. Gilbert took great care of me. Everything was fully explained before and after by himself and staff. I'm glad that this procedure was done by Dr. Gilbert. Even when I was wheeled into the OR I felt at ease.Thank you for doing an outstanding job with my care!!

Doc is Super good at what he does. Not much more to say. He diagnosed me and got straight to getting me right.

Dr Gilbert & his surgical team are the very BEST. I was nervous & Dr Gilbert ensured me I was in very good hands. He asked what type of music I liked, when I entered the OR Pattie was playing. The team that I had not met introduced themselves & again assured me I would be well taken care of. Dr. Gilbert is absolutely awesome and extremely knowledgeable. He is a wonderful surgeon with terrific interpersonal skills that are displayed by the way he treats his patients, staff, and surgical team with the utmost respect and compassion. Dr. Gilbert's knowledge and bedside manner are second to none! He took time to explain everything to me and my husband before surgery and afterwards. He advised me everything I needed to do to make sure that my recovery is smooth and complete. He made us feel very comfortable with his knowledge and skills. Dr. Gilbert is one of the best, most accommodating doctors I have ever met. He has excellent bedside manner, explains medical science well, and addressed all of my questions and concerns. He was very successful at repairing my shoulder and I highly recommend having him as a part of your healthcare team for any orthopedic procedures.

Dr. Gilbert is a phenomenal surgeon and a joy to work with. I’ve been having difficulties with my knee for a year. He motivated me to go with the least invasive approach and I was doing well. However, I reinjured myself which resulted in me needing surgery. YIKES! I was so scared, but Dr. Gilbert and his team talked with me about the things I was worried about to make me feel better about the procedure. I had two successful surgeries under the care of Dr. Gilbert. Because he’s so popular and have a high rating :-) it can be difficult booking appointments with him. But he’s worth it and for emergency cases he will squeeze you into his schedule. I highly recommend him to anyone. He listens to your concerns and address them based on his medical expertise! My visit with Dr. Gilbert and is team for my surgery was a wonderful one. From the moment I enter the front desk to the team that was preparing me for surgery was very professional and respectful and caring. They made sure I had everything that I needed . When I was going into the surgery room it was so pleasant. I didn’t have any fear at all. I want to thank them all for caring for me.

I consulted with Dr. Gilbert for a SLAP tear. First of all, I felt heard by Dr. Gilbert. I consulted with other specialists about this same injury and I didn't feel heard by all of them. In due course Dr. Gilbert performed an arthroscopy on my torn labrum. I'm recovering now. Dr. Gilbert was excellent and eased my anxiety about the procedure. He was patient with questions and even offered to play music I liked in the OR! I was not expecting to hear from Dr. Gilbert so soon after the procedure but he called within about 48 hours to follow up. In sum, Dr. Gilbert is expert and has an easy manner. I could not be happier with the level of care from him or my experience generally.

Dr. Gilbert was always receptive and attentive to my issues. Dr. Gilbert is extremely patient, kind, and caring. I pray I never need another ortho surgery, but if I do, I will come find him.

I was referred to Dr. Gilbert and he was not only amazing, he was awesome and he listened to my concerns and found the problem and from the time I stepped in the operating room until I left, my experience was top notch. He is definitely the doctor you want and his staff is amazing as well. Coolest doctor I’ve seen. I’m glad that I had an African-American surgeon. Made me feel comfortable when I spoke pre-op and right before the surgery.
