Dr. Coralie Texeira, MD

I have been a patient for the last seven years. Dr. Texeira has never once brushed me off or tried to rush through my appointments. If I have a new issue she always asks how I want to proceed. It’s true you can’t leave a message. All of my questions and renew prescription requests are answered via MyChart. I had to visit the emergency room a few months ago and contacted her through MyChart to explain my situation. Her staff contacted me the next day with an appointment and setup visits with the necessary specialists. I find her to be pleasant and concerned with my wellbeing. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new doctor.

My mother missed her appointment because her dialysis appointment was moved to her visit time with this primary doctor. I called but could not reach the office. There is no voicemail. They wanted to switch my mother to a doctor closer to her, but that was never the issue. When I told them that my mother wanted to keep her doctor they told me that the doctor wouldn’t have it because of too many missies appointments. The only on there missed appointment happened because my mom couldn’t make it to their office because she was seriously I’ll having just gotten out of the hospital and maybe when she was in the hospital and I having just taken over her was not aware of this doctor. When I told the staff we would be filing a complaint, the staff member just hung up the phone. I called back. No response. They never attempted to call me back. My mother is at end stage and this is how they treat their patients. My mom is the sweetest lady. I only met this doctor once and she seemed cold.

If I could give no star I would. Dr. Texiera did not listen to my concerns. In fact, she didn’t even let me talk. She kept looking at her notes and went against what I was trying to explain. She only wants a yes or no answer and then refers you to someone else. She didn’t even ask my pain level or if my medications are working. She completely disregarded the reason why I went there. I felt like crying after seeing her.

I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Texeira. She had me on medication to treat my disease. A year later, i did a follow up because I felt that I really didn't have this diagnosis. It just didn't sit well with me. The follow up was made by myself and only because I asked to have her check again. She was upset and didn't want to do a recheck. She even sighed and looked annoyed, but did a follow up test anyway. She said she will call me with the results. So i'm waiting for her to call but she didn't, so I assumed it was the same and my diagnosis did not change.. Several months later, I had the flu and went to see her. I asked about my results from before and she said, oh it's negative. I was so upset and would have never known that I didn't have what she said I had. And I was carrying this burden for a year!!! She did not apologize. She didn't seem to care. S.S.

Really cares about her patients! My wife and I have been going to Dr. Texeira for years now. Originally chose her as our Primary Care Provider as Queen's West was close to our house in Ewa, but we keep going back because she shows genuine concern for her patients, and is very knowledgeable (keeps up on changes in health care) and takes the time to explain any issues, and also to listen. We have no plans to change Doctors anytime in the near future!

Dr. Texeira and staff provide excellent patient care. I have been able to schedule a post emergency room visit right away for follow-up assessment and greatly appreciate her level of expertise and guidance. I would highly recommend her as a primary care physician.

She's the best doctor I ever had. Listens carefully and provides thorough medical check-ups and guidance. I've referred her twice to my friends/family and both of them appreciated her as much as I do.

Dr. Texeira has always been fantastic for my wife and me. She makes me want to get and stay healthy and yes even pushes me to do better but does not over criticize or scold harshly. She understands her patient's needs and has always done her homework on the conditions she discusses. We were nervous about changing to the Queen's system and finding the right doctor when we moved to O'ahu but for the past five years we have been very happy with our family physician. Dr. Texeira is the best!

I liked my first two visits with Dr Texeira. However the last two visits left me disappointed. She barely listened to my complaints & only looked at me to check my throat. Other than that she faced the computer typing & reading other notes from urgent care or pharmacy prescriptions. She even brushed me off by saying “you have what everyone has & sudafed will help that” mind you I ended up contacting her bc my symptoms worsen. It’s important to make your pt feel heard. Not like I’d take up time.

I have never thought a caring doctor who takes the time with patients exist! Dr. Texeira you are truly One of the best doctor on the island. I'm so fortunate to have you are my PP! You are warm and kind. You are down to earth, I can easily relate to and most of all, you have shown me compassion. Thank God For a doctor like you!

Dr. Texeira is really informative, nice soft voice, and very calm. Not very happy of how they handle schedule. I was schedule for my yearly check up, but since I could not make it due to work schedule (Febuary). I asked If there is any opening on Saturday, per receptionist I have to wait til June. June come, I havent been call. I called and receptionist said, our saturday opening not until December. I upset, I waited for long, I thought I had appointment already.

She is very attentive to every detail and cares. She calls you when she states she would and she really knows her work as a doctor. thank you Dr. Teixeira for all that you do!!!

This doctor should not be treating geriatric patients as she has very limited knowledge in assessing patients who have various forms of dementia. She must've missed the class that explains that dementia doesn't only deal with memory loss. Thanks to her not taking our concerns seriously, our family has lost HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

I absolutely love her! She is thorough, hardworking, loves her job and her dedication to her patients are incredible. She is truly doing what she was meant to be doing. Dr. Texeira is a very passionate person when it comes to her patients. I trust her 100% and I don't trust often, if ever. Thanks Dr. Texeira!
