Dr. Constance Pietrzak, MD

I've had 2 colonoscopies with Dr. Pietrzak 2018 & 2021. I found her to be pleasant & thorough. I hate I no longer live in Illinois so, I must try someone new.

She performed a colonoscopy and she said less than 20 words to me. Did not check in afterward. She was unfriendly and came off like I was wasting her time.

This is the second advocate gastroenterologist I have visited and I am less than impressed with both. Dr. P office staff told me that she would be able to fix any issues she found during my colonoscopy. After I was in the procedure room Dr. P informed me this was untrue and she would not be able to fix any issues. I also had to call the office myself to get bowel prep information and prescriptions sent to my pharmacy. I had bleeding within the first week after the colonoscopy. This was the reason for my initial consult, so although I wasn’t alarmed I was told that they couldn’t see me for two months! I think that’s really poor medical care at the very least. I am a registered nurse and I cannot recommend this position at all.

Was very abrupt and did not wish to hear anything about what I was experiencing. Said she "knew what was wrong and what to do" before I could even explain my symptoms. Did not try to explain the procedure that she would be performing and made it quite clear that my appointment was an inconvenience in her day. Would not recommend her.

After waiting for two hours she cancelled my appointment saying that I was late!

Very rude doctor. She has no compassion. During my procedure she talked about me in such a negative way as if I could not hear.
