Will overbill you. Does not care for your health
Connie Ho is a terrible doctor who does not care for your health and will illegally overbill you for an annual visit that should be 100% covered by insurance. Do not see this physician. She does not provide quality care. She just cares about money. She will bill you for more than your annual physical.

Extremely Professional
I needed to replace my internist as my wonderful one moved. Dr Ho had a 6 month wait which I grabbed knowing there is a shortage of PCPs and her credentials are great. I inquired among people with whom she trained and learned she was a top-notch practitioner. She was on-time for my appointment, thorough in her exam and questioning, had previously studied my chart and knew a lot before we got there. I appreciated her efficiency, and her thoroughness. She communicated via MyChart notes when lab results came back. She is exactly the kind of doc I’ll need should I get sick—capable of complex diagnoses and knowledgeable re referrals. Dr Ho is smart, Uber-professional and efficient!

Inadequate care
Dr. Ho is another overworked, lackluster NM physician. She rushes you in the appointments and does not listen. She takes weeks to respond to messages or give comments on lab results. Northwestern has clearly made profits their primary focus. Virtually every practitioner has extremely limited availability, you will wait months for appointments. I’ve been referred to multiple specialists because their primary care physicians are either inept or instructed to make endless referrals. Even the specialists seem frustrated and confused as to why you were referred to their office. Routine testing like colonoscopies have a 6 month wait list. I have had lab results from other patients show up in my chart. I have had surgery rescheduled at the last minute because they confused my chart with another person’s. It’s an absolute time waste and you will leave feeling defeated and frustrated.

Should stick to research, a terrible caregiver
Dealing with this woman is such an incredible pain. I've been going to Northwestern for 15 years, and across 6 different gen med doctors, she is by far the worst. Terrible at communication, terrible bedside manner, just overall terrible. I am changing physicians as soon as possible. This woman should be stuck in a room looking at books, not taking care of people.

Disinterested
I'm amazed at the ratings beyond a one star. I've been seeing Dr. Ho for years because she's conveniently located, and I rarely need to see a gp because I have other doctors who take super care of me. However, whenever I have gone to her, she could not be any less interested. She asks questions and types in answers with no follow-up. Many times I've never even made it to the examining table--she just asks me questions. My record has numerous mistakes that I have told her about, but she never corrects them.

Don’t go there!
Dr. Ho is only interested in office visits, not concerned about the well-being of the patient. I know someone who needed meds because of anxiety attacks and her assistant said she would not prescribe anything unless she comes into the office in-person. Not even concern about COVID, just come into the office.

Dr Ho really cares about her patients. She wanted me to get a physical but I didn’t want to have it done at that time. She heard about my decision when I talked with her nurse and left an appointment to convince me to have the physical done right away. I did as she suggested and am happy I did.

She's all about the money. Be careful with malpractices from her. She charged me on my preventive visit on an issue I told her another doctor already took care of. She ignores emails and is afraid to give explanation of charges. Definitely dishonest and lack of care.

Not recommended if you have a pre-existing or former condition. Totally just collecting a paycheck and deflects all questions and follow-up to a specialist, even when it's not in the specialist's wheelhouse. Doesn't answer emails and appointments are basically HR meetings. Racist and writes in your medical record that you're "disheveled" if you have "ethnic" hair. Disgraceful.

I got my first appointment with Dr. Ho because the doctor I had requested to see was booked, but I got lucky and couldn’t be happier at how this worked out. She is an incredible doctor. Dr. Ho is as competent and smart as she is understanding and kind. I love that she includes me to decide on a plan for care. Most times you have to choose whether you see a good doctor or a kind doctor. With Dr. Ho, you get both.

Dr. Ho is a perceptive internist that values the input of a patient. She is very good at getting to the root of a problem and making treatment suggestions that are sensible and effective. Also she has a pleasant manner that allows her to establish rapport with a patient. It is not enough that a doctor be smart and knowledgeable but people skills are just as important - and she has both.
