Dr. Connie Cheng, MD

Dr. Connie Cheng was my OB from early pregnancy through the birth of my son, and I’m so grateful I found her. I met with a few different doctors before choosing her, and she was by far the best fit. She’s incredibly smart, easy to talk to, relatable, and always made me feel heard. She took the time to answer every question I had and helped guide me through my pregnancy and delivery with so much care and clarity. Thanks to her, I had the most positive and empowering birth experience possible.Just a quick note for anyone considering this practice: if you’re planning on getting an IUD postpartum, make sure to request it early—ideally before delivery—since it can take 4 to 5 weeks to come in. That’s not a reflection on Dr. Cheng at all, just something I wish I’d known in advance.Dr. Cheng is truly a fantastic OB, and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cheng! This was our first baby, and she graciously walked us through all of the unknowns, providing so much valuable information and encouragement every step of the way. We ended up having a difficult delivery, resulting in a c-section, and honestly, I don't know what could have happened had she not been there. We got to watch her expertise and knowledge kick into high gear when we needed it the most. We will forever be grateful for her getting our little girl out safely. Now that we are on the other side of things, we will miss our visits with her! If you need an OBGYN, Dr. Cheng is simply the best!!!

Dr. Cheng is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She’s a friendly, compassionate and patient person with excellent bedside manner. She answers questions and approaches concerns thoughtfully, and has never rushed me out the door. It’s clear she loves what she does and stays up to date with modern research. She was amazing during the delivery of my first child, a healthy baby boy. Thanks to her, I had no perineal tearing (even though my son has a huge head…haha)

Dr. Cheng is the best OBGYN I could’ve ever asked for. She helped me through my first pregnancy and delivered my sweet baby boy. Dr. Cheng immediately made me feel comfortable from the very first appointment. As the pregnancy continued on, she made sure I was comfortable and thriving. She was thorough at check ups, always answered all my questions, and made sure baby was well and where he was supposed to be. When it came to the delivery, Dr. Cheng was not the on call doctor but came in specifically to deliver my baby. She did everything she could to minimize tearing. In the end, she gave me such great advice that I had no perineal tears! I am two weeks out and feeling good! Dr. Cheng has checked in with me multiple times and made sure that I am healthy and comfortable. I cannot emphasize enough how caring and skilled Dr. Cheng is. She has excellent bedside manner and a great wealth of knowledge. If I have another baby in the future, I am going wherever Dr. Cheng is.

Dr. Cheng counseled me through my pregnancy with the patience of a good friend all the while providing me the most recent research and options on all the questions my husband and I asked. I will definitely be seeking her service again in future pregnancies and would highly recommend her.

I sought care from Dr. Cheng after a bad experience with another OB/GYN. Unlike my previous doctor, Dr. Cheng is an excellent listener, very responsive, and you can tell she really cares about her patients. She guided me through my second pregnancy and always provided me with the most current, evidence-based answers to my questions. She's personable and extremely capable. Her staff is also great—they're well-trained and organized. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cheng's practice to anyone looking for OB/GYN care in the Pasadena area.
