Shouldn't be a doctor! No empathy or compassion!
He was extremely rude to my girlfriend, even laughing at her. No compassion what so ever! I started researching for her because he's a waste of her time. I see that's obvious by the number of negative reviews that were written about him. I have been down the cancer road twice. Thank God my doctors in Arizona where I live are EXCELLENT. He should be ashamed of his behavior!

Outstanding oncologist
My uncle has lung cancer and Dr. Vu came to see him daily in the hospital, even on the weekends. He was kind, knowledgeable, took the time to explain to my uncle and family his condition and treatment plan. We think he's a five star doctor!

Run the other way!!
This man should not be allowed to be a doctor. He has zero compassion for patients. He might act night on the surface, but cancer patients will not get the care and attention they should receive. Someone close to me was hospitalized and he spent 5 days waiting for this doctor to come see him. The surgeon even came by to see him before he did and towards the end of the stay, even he was wondering why this oncologist hasn’t even seen my relative or even made any contact. When he finally came, he talked to my relative and eventually diagnosed him with stage 3 cancer. A week went by after his discharge, haven’t heard from this doctor or his office. We call and they say my relative can’t get treatment for over a month! This doctor didn’t have the decency to even connect with his new cancer patient and I couldn’t get a hold of him after to discuss treatment plans or beg for an earlier treatment date. It has been two weeks since we’ve spoken with someone from his office.

Did not find Dr. Vu or the medical group nurses to be clinically competent, compassionate, or respectful of confidentiality. Changed oncologists and have appreciated better care and better results.

Saw him in hospital as he remembered me from three years earlier with my sepsis infection. He is easy to talk with and I listen intently when he speaks. Great knowledge and ability to explain regardless of what it takes so i understand what my condition is.

My mom had breast and bone cancer and Dr. Vu saved her life! This person that wrote this terrible review about him is so inaccurate and I’m appalled they could even write such a review. If I ever was diagnosed with cancer I would fly from Ohio to Cali just to be treated by him. Thank you Dr. Vu for treating my mom Ms. Devane

A hematologist should make you feel secure. I cant say that about Dr Vu nor his assistants. If you want to find an empathetic, understanding, gentle, kind, patient doctor, Vu is not the one to go. He is not aggressive with his treatment to cure his patients. If you ask him a question he makes you feel uncomfortable He does not like to answer any questions. Plain and simple...I don't trust this guy, I also feel compelled to write a review about him. He shouldnt have a license. Disregards you.
