Dr. Colleen Vanderkolk, DO

Dr. Vandercault is spectacular. She is patient, personable and professional. Highly recommend

I have not seen her because I wasn't able to get an appointment even with a physician referral. Her Ascension profile states that she sees patients with cerebral palsy. After a couple of weeks and reaching out to my PCP again for assistance with her office, someone there called me back and said she does not see patients with CP and argued with me that it was on her Ascension profile.

I’ve been coming there for many years now and never felt anything but cared for.

I first started seeing her and a PA under her. The PA saw me for appointments, but communicated with Vanderkolk. She would attend appointments, or have me see her instead, when epileptic treatment was involved. I was treated for migraines, and they both respected my caution to botulinum. When pregnant/breastfeeding, they took extra care to limit risks and looked for other treatments that I felt aligned with my goals.Around the time the PA left, I finally agreed to botulinum injections. I only see Vanderkolk for neuro now. She is amazing with the injections.I once got lost on the way to her office, and when I arrived she had just walked out the door. She came back, bringing the equipment and software to check my VNS implant! Never have I had a doctor do that for me.She obviously reviews my file before the appointment, and takes notes of my life. I once brought my son after he saw me seize. she took time to talk w him, gave him kids materials. Best neuro!

The check in process was quick and the nurse called me back quickly and was super friendly. I did not wait long for Dr. Vanderkolk to come into the room. She is super nice, knowledgeable, listens to you and is open to trying lots of options to help. As a nurse myself I am quite particular with physicians I trust but Dr. Vanderkolk is fantastic. Overall a fantastic experience!

Dr. Vanderkolk provides excellent service, both in person and virtually. She’s caring, competent, and does her very best to help with your medical problem or condition. Dr. Vanderkolk listens and provides customized treatment plans for you and will adjust those plans accordingly as needed along the way. She truly cares about her patients and spends time getting to know you and what is going on in your life that might be contributing to your health. You do not feel like a number. She is the type of doctor we all want.
