Dr. Colleen Sholar, DO

Horrible bedside manner, no compassion for the patient. Should be banned from practicing or dealing in any form of wellbeing. No heart!

I have been Dr Scholar's patient for over two years and could not be happier. She has provided me with excellent primary care on several instances including yearly exam, hip bursitis, and recently a infected abscess on my inner arm which required draining, packing and finally removal. She is a very good Doctor. Dr Scholar and her primary nurse Francis make a wonderful team. I am confident she will continue to provide me good medical care.

I would never recommend that anyone go to her. This is the most arrogant, heartless and uncaring person you could ever meet. No compassion for the patient or the family members of the dying. This woman has no business being in a position to care for anyone. Do not trust her with the life of your family members or friends. I have spoken directly to this vessel of self pride about her attitude towards the patient, the elderly and the family members and with an arrogant smirk she shrugs. If she doesn't want to treat she will use a dose of drugs to "make the patient comfortable" to the point the patient is at the point of death. Take heed and be warned. I can provide as many as 5 witnesses, the 6th one is deceased! I didnt want to leave a star rating but the system forces it.

She is really non-judgemental so if you can't follow the plan of care that is set for you, she'll work with you to find one that works for you. She listens to what you're telling her about your problems and also to any input you have about what should be done.

We both have been Dr. Sholar's patients for the last year and a half and find her easy to talk to, and she listens to what we have to say. I have heart issues and now have a pacemaker, and a few medications for those issues. She stays in the loop with the Cardiac doctors in CDA that did my procedures and I feel confident in her judgements on my follow ups.
