Dr. Colleen Lee, MD

Speaking from decades of healthcare experience (from patient to technician to surgical aide), I have experienced all kinds of doctors both good and not-so-good, from small town generalists to specialists at NYU Hospital. I settled on Dr. Lee for my personal care because I found her to be attentive (alert to any potential issues), conservative (with testing and medicines), and authoritative (because she knows what she’s doing). I don’t speak any Korean, but she speaks English well enough to understand my questions, get my jokes, and push back on my objections with up-to-date medical knowledge. She is a no-nonsense person, but her bedside manner was perfect. Her calm but focused attention immediately put me at ease. Dr. Lee is judicious, conscientious, and caring. As a knowledgeable person who participates in his own healthcare and views medical professionals as partners in that endeavor, she is perfect. Five stars, no reservations.

Went for an annual check up and none of the regular questions or procedures for a check up were followed. Didn't ask me any questions. My medical form history noted a disorder which asked nothing about. I was not weighed, no breast exam and very minimal communication.
