Dr. Colleen Adkins, MD

My son has been having asthma issues for a long time, my son have been seem by many doctors but he continue to feel bad. Doctor Adkins was amazing, she is very knowledgable and very caring. She was very patient and caring, my son gets fussy due to his condition, Doctor Adkins is a professional that care for his patients, she was very clear at explaining his asthma condition and what she can do to improve his health. After his treatment started he felt a lot better and is improving every day. Thank you Doctor Adkins you are an amazing human being, this was a great experience, and your staff was helpful and caring.

I called to schedule an appt and was told Dr Adkins dealt w allergies. I clarified the internet listing her as an immunologist and was told again she specialized in allergies. I clarified calling based on the claim of immunology and was told she treated allergy symptoms. This is confusing.

Highly recommend Dr. Adkins. She is highly qualified as an Allergist Specialist doctor, listens well and makes correct decisions. She will go out of her way to help you in your needs. I have visited several Allergy and Immunologist Doctors and Dr. Colleen Adkins is absolutely at the top in the Austin's area. She is caring and truly concerned about her patients. She has a great staff and felt very welcome. I have recommended Dr. Adkins to some of my friends and family members and they were amazed how great they felt when they left and how she follow their progress treatment. She followed very carefully for reactions to any medications provided at the ARC Clinic. She’s kind and funny and never starts looking at her watch after about 7-8 minutes. I trust and respect my Doctor.

Her first appointment was 3 months out, then she cancelled the day before and pushed it another two months out. No one should have to wait 6 months for care. The receptionist would not offer a cancellation list or any option to be seen sooner. Just "sorry"

Grace Tamesis is a much better allergist in Round Rock and with SUPERB bona fides. And is so much cheaper in testing. Gone to both.
