Surgery patient
Dr. Ryan is very knowledgeable and interested in listening to my concerns. He did my surgery, and I experienced minimal pain without using much pain medication at all. It was an extensive procedure. I have been a registered nurse for 50 plus years, and like most nurses, I feel partially 'in charge' for my medical care. I did not feel the need to do so with Dr. Ryan. 100% trust. Would not hesitate to see him for any future needs.

Only go if you're young and healthy
By not recognizing the symptoms of a UTI in my elderly father with advanced dementia, he caused undue aggravation and, more importantly, hallucinations and delusions in my father, to the point where we had to call the police to have him taken to the emergency room. I lost my 'usual' father that evening, thankfully after being properly diagnosed, he's now returning to his old self, at least most of his old self. It took Dr. Ryan 3 business days (5 days total) to return my call about medications for my father. Without truly listening, he poo-poo'd my begging requests to do something about my father's catheter. A patient like him should have been hospitalized the minute the decision was made to put the catheter in. Instead, he lost his mind and is now restrained in a hospital on heavy drugs. While my faith says to forgive, it doesn't say to forget, and I most certainly won't!
