He's been my doctor for 9 years
Since I moved to Jacksonville, Dr. Lacroix has been a very good doctor for me. He has been able to figure out and make great recommendations on my care in different situations. I trust him with my health and appreciate all that he does.

Have not seen him in over a year and cannot get through to him even by listening to the over 10 minute recording i get when i call his office--very upsetting!

I used this doctor for a year. He was good for everyday common issues but when a tougher issue came up he overmedicated me despite my concerns about such a strong medication. I went along with his advice to give it a try but I had a terrible reaction. I let his office know and changed doctors.

I was seen for an annual physical very quickly, there is usually a wait for these appointments...that should have been my first sign. First, they tried to charge me for an annual physical because "people usually go in with complaints so we do an initial visit then the physical." I know the difference between a well and sick visit...not necessary. The nurse looked at me as said "so you don't have any problems?, ok I'll have to code this as a physical then"....duh! Next, we start talking about my diet, I advised that I had lost a significant amount of weight using healthy diet and exercise, he pushes diet pills on me. I told him that I'd rather not take medication that is not necessary. My BMI is 28, I am not obese, and I just said that a healthy lifestyle is working...he then knocks my methods and tells me that I shouldn't write off the pills. THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. It is doctors like this. Why would I take dangerous medications with awful side effects when

I really like Dr. Lacroix - my first few visits were really good. However, the last few times I have gone, I've literally spent maybe 3 to 5 minutes with him. He seems rushed and busy and my appointments are only for refills, but I am charges a lot for these visits and would like more time to discuss things.
