Dr Baird is an incompetent doctor. I had to have a second surgery from a qualified surgeon to repair the damage that he did to my back. I'm now fused from T2 to S1 because of his incompetence.

Another Very Satisfied Patient
I had pain in my lower back and down my right leg to the point no medication would relieve the pain. Dr Baird performed surgery in L4 and L5; pain relief was immediate. Also, we will have the disc repaired in C-2 through C-7 in June.I am looking forward to another great experience.

Best Doc Ever
I had seen Dr . Baird for many years! He helped me through the most difficult time. No other doctors knew what to do. And would give up on me. But he didn’t. Such a kind loyal person. I recommend him all the time.

All I’ll say is I thank GOD my coworker told me to see him. I went to 2 surgeons before him and I felt like I just wanted to give up. Now I can sleep without waking up every 10 minutes to change positions. Praise Jesus for my healing.

Dr. Baird has been my pain management doctor for several years. He also treats my husband as well. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is not quick to advise major surgery. He has many avenues of treatment that he uses and works with the patient to choose what’s right for them. His NP Katie Rodgers is also extremely knowledgeable as well and together make up a powerful team. We travel for work and no matter where we go, we would never want anyone else to handle our pain management needs. They are wonderful individuals that you can trust, and their staff is awesome as well. I highly recommend them.

My pain management doctor referred me to Dr Baird to have a neurospinal stimulator placed. I met him and he seemed nice enough, even concerned for my health. I had the surgery. Dr Baird failed to wake me to see if the placement was "good." After I was in a recovery I found the placement was bad. I only had coverage on one side of my body. I went home and was scheduled another surgery to relocate the stim. He did wake me and placement was good. 6 months later, my stim was not working properly. The lead had migrated. It had to be relocated. After a third relocation, I asked Dr Baird to remove the stimulator. I didn't want to have surgery every 6 months. He got very angry and rude with me. I felt like a $ sign to him. I left his office crying. He offered no explanation for why this was happening. He did remove it, but was very rude and mean the day of surgery. My back looks like a rutted racetrack. Would never recommend Dr Baird to anyone! Horrible person! Very Rude and condescending!

Although Dr Baird successfully operated on me a few years ago, the recent surgery was a disaster. I came out much worse than going in. I will never be the same, much less better. He was late for surgery, although I was first on the schedule. I didn’t see him post op until 6 pm the next day. He ignored my post op issues. He cancels office appointments and is hours late when he keeps appointments. He was fired from his practice with other neurosurgeons near spine hospital and from Cancer Treatment Center. Do not let him touch you!

Dr. Baird provided care like I never expected. It was absolutely exceptional. I had the same surgery a friend had and stayed in the hospital three days I left the very next morning. I had a call to check on me the next evening about how I was doing. Just absolutely didn’t expect this kind of service from a doctor.

Dr Baird has fused my neck and did brain surgery on my wife with out a single problem. He is going to operate on my back in 3 days and I have all the confidence in Dr Baird that I can have. We’ve never had any complaints about his staff or him being rude or uncaring. They called several times to check on us and to schedusl follow up appointments. If they had more stars to give him, I would give him a 10.

I wonder if anyone has actually told Dr Baird how rude he is to a patient and their family. When they are dealing with a life threatening issue and he tell the patients parent he doesn't have time to talk to them and answer questions. Do you think you stand on a pedestal and look down on everyone? Never returns calls and neither does his office staff. they are just as rude. and he denies a conversation even when there were others hearing it. Id give a negative star if they had it.

Probably the only time I've ever felt compelled to write a review. This guy is the most arrogant, disrespectful and narcissistic primadonna I may have ever had to meet. He acted like we were wasting his time, didn't take the time to explain or even show us the MRI and CT scans and then told us he was going on vacation and couldn't get to the surgery for two weeks. He did say that it was "no big deal" and that "anybody who calls themselves a neurosurgeon could do it". Thanks, we'll find som

Progressively worse after each of 2 lower back surgeries. We were never made a priority. Never on time. Had no explanation for why the surgery agrivated the condition. Was either mis-treated or mis-diagnosed. Worst experience with a physician!

I seen Dr Baird 1 time when he explained I would need a lower lumbar spinal fusion. I then seen him again to setup my surgery date & haven't seen him since, they always reschedule my appt. I had surgery in Oct 2016. I have since seen him 1 time for 5 minutes since my surgery. I'm over 6 months out, no physical therapy. I'm now in more pain then I was before surgery & having the same issues. I've been called a liar by his staff & treated rudly & poorly.

My husband had multi-level lower lumbar back fusion surgery with Dr. Baird. From the first consultation, we felt we were in good hands. He took the time to answer our questions and walked us through the MRI to explain the procedure he needed and why. We woukd definitely recommend him.
