Dr. Clayton Schroeder, MD

We were treated bad by his staff first and then Dr Clayton. He tried to tell us it was our fault they were rude to us. Left message for a nurse to call back and never got a call back. My husband came to appointment next day with horrible back pain and they wanted him to fill out pages of forms while he could barely sit in the chair, asking all basic info that they already had on file. Dr Clayton could have cared less about his patient and his pain- he was all about himself, his forms and blaming us. He has clearly lost his passion for helping patients

Knowledgeable we’ll spoken knows his field.Listens and explains everything so you can fully understand.Truly cares about whatever it is that you are going through and together we can make proper decisions for better health both physically and mentally.All around great guy wonderful staff and I always leave better off than when I came in.

Good as usual. I have be going to DR.Schroeder for at least 10 years or more he just keeps on getting better at understanding and explaining what it takes to keep me healthy. The way he takes care of himself is a big motivation for me.He has always taken good care of me. I consider him to be very professional and a very good friend.

I moved here from California, I got an appointment , dr listened to everything I had been going through, he is really cares , I have been suffering from inflammation for four years, he prescribed a medicine and it took away all my inflammation, I feel so good. I’m so glad I went to see him, best doctor I’ve ever had

Dr. Schroeder is the most caring, attentive, very knowledgeable physician. He listens and always has an answers to all my questions. He is the best physician I have ever had!

He prescribes medication so that he can bill to treat another condition. He offered to write me a new prescription for a symptom I didn't know I had until he brought it up. When I asked about the side effects, he said there are many and severe. I declined. Had I accepted, he would now be treating me for another condition and be billing for that. I have been over invoiced 3 years in a row. On my last visit I was billed for two office calls for the same appointment. The staff at Methodist's billing department are some of the worst I've ever had to work with. I'll pay this invoice and move on to a different doctor that is outside of the Methodist network.

Like the family doctors of the past - Knows who I am, remembering all my personal details without looking at the chart. Usually returns after hours calls himself, has even responded to my call on Christmas Day.

I am one who doesn't call and go to the doctor unless I am to a point where I need care. I haven't been able to see my actual doctor in years. They literally can't ever get me in the same day. It's beyond frustrating. But, the thing that broke our relationship completely today was his lack of communication and follow through. I received better advice from Teledoc, someone I'd never met before. They cared. Dr. Schroder didn't care, and "his ladies" as he calls them, never called me back. Instead I find myself in the ER. So, basically don't waste your time with this doc.

Dr. Schroeder is as close to perfect as they come. He treated my mother, husband & daughters. He is extremely knowledgable, his bedside manner is top notch and HE TRULY cares about his patients. He is tactful when necessary and always kind. I would never consider not being his patient.

I moved back to omaha from Chicago and found Clay by reference. What a pleasant surprise. Absolutely the best GP I have ever had. Over the years I have had 13 GPS due to moving all over the country and Clayton’s attention to detail and treatment is over the top. Not to mention he is a really great guy.

I highly recommend Dr. Schroeder, he is one of the best, caring doctor I've seen since moving back to Omaha. He takes the time to talk and listen to you. Which is very hard to find now days.
