I went to go see him because I was new in town and needed a Physician and a medical personnel referred me to him and said really nice things about him. When I went to go see him when he first walked into the room he just looked at me and then looked at my husband. Did not speak or have a smile on his face. I reached my right hand out to shake his and he reluctantly shook my hand and then he finally asked what was I doing there and then I explained I needed a Physician because I am new to the area and he said there was nothing he could do for me. My husband and I looked at each other like what the Bleep..... and he told the nurse that was with him to make sure I get my co-pay back and he would not charge for the visit. He never asked anything about my medical history. I could have been. I have been a Nurse for over 25 years and I have never seen a Doctor treat a patient with such disrespect. Oh and btw we have great insurance although that should not matter. Oh & he did Bill my insuranc

Dr. Alford has no bedside manners, he hears what he wants to hear. I believe if he doesn’t want to bring you on as a patient he will tell you anything. I believe he’s a good Doctor to who he wants to be a good doctor too. Selective. And your insurance doesn’t have anything to do with it.

Dr.Alford is a very patient man with a great sense of humor. I had been searching for a primary care physician and aftdr just 1 visit at his office I knew he was someone I can trust and that actually cares about my health. I must add the only downfall I had was a scheduling error. Also, his staff is beyond AMAZING. His nurse Tara is full of energy and positivity!!
