Awesome and caring doctor!
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lin for 9+ years and he has been such a blessing to us with our pain issues! Recently my husband had an MRI on his spine that showed a mass on his kidney. Dr. Lin called both of us to his office to tell us that it could possibly be cancer and he showed so much concern for both of us. He went above and beyond on all of this! He recommended an awesome surgeon and made sure we got in quickly. My husband's surgery went well and Dr. Lin kept in contact with us to see how everything was going. Other doctors saw the MRI and Dr. Lin is the one that took it so serious and got us headed in the right direction. I truly believe that he saved my husband from a harder cancer down the road or ultimately death if it had never been taken care of. Dr. Lin is exceptionally intellegent, caring and has truely been an angel for us! Dr. Lin's assistant Genesis is absolutely wonderful! She is always so helpful, knowledgeable and has such a caring personality!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lin for three years now. He is by far the best doctor for pain management. He takes his time with you, and you never feel rushed. He explains things fully so you can understand. And he is very high regarded with the nurses and staff you talk with. I never write reviews, but wanted to let people who are in chronic pain that he is fantastic.

I have been struggling with pain from two back surgeries in December and April. After my surgeon dumped me I feel very fortunate to have found dr. Lin. He has been as flexible as possible with pain meds and injections. He has earned my trust. I can relate to comments about the staff and accounting. There are same very good ones. If you have been involved as long as me you will find them.

I had pain at my leg. Called the Back Institute ask to schedule a appointment with first available MD. I explained my situation, also added that I was paying out of pocket. I work out of the country so my insurance is in another country. I have to pay my expenses my self. A day before my appointment, I had to came back from a business trip earlier, to catch up my appointment. When I arrived in the morning I am told Dr. Lin is not accepting the out of cash patients... That is a nonsense explanation, and discrimination of the patients. what kind of kick back is he receiving from the insurance I don't know. I looked for the reviews of him after the fact. Explains all the complaints. I strongly suggest to schedule your appointment with someone else. He doesn't care if you are in pain and need help. Also the management of the Back Institute should double check that policy. Last point I went to another clinic, after the visit they asked for MRI which showed herniated disc at my back.

Dr. Lin in my opinion is an excellent doctor. I have not seen him in several years. He helped treat my back issues when I was a patient at North Texas Spine Consultants. My original physician Dr. Viere I believe is getting ready to retire. I am going to opt to go to Dr. Lin. I had great experiences with him. While only being in my early 20’s not many doctors took my complaint of major back pain serious. Dr. Viere and Lin did. I ended up having a spinal fusion at the age of 25. My progress has been excellent. However it has been 10 years since my surgery and I am beginning to feel the sam feelings in my neck and I know I have arthritis in both my neck and back. I plan on seeing Dr. Lin in the near future. Besides Dr. Viere, Dr. Lin is the only doctor I trust.

I would never go back to this doctor EVER. Two treatments did not work at all for my husband’s back issue. The billing department lied to us and we will never go there again. Horrible!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lin's since approx. 2011. Without Dr. Lin, I would have no life and, would be almost completely house-bound. We have been through several procedures which, in my did not work for me. Dr. Lin has never tried to force any type of treatment on me, except P.T., that I continue to resist. I have been through P.T. and know, for a fact, it does work. Mine is a personal situation which causes for not being compliant. Dr. Lin may present his serious face to you in the beginning; however, under that no-nonsense face lies a totally different person. I could wax for hours singing high praise on Dr. Lin and, his staff. Sidebar: During my 8 yrs + with Dr. Lin, I have NEVER, once, experienced any type of rude or negative behavior. Respectfully.

Dr. Lin relieved severe pain in my lower back and has helped me remain mobile when doctors would not operate due to the level of damage. I would recommend him anytime. F. Harmon-Seets; Benbrook, TX

I went to him because he is a physiatrist and pm doctor. He sat behind his computer and didn't even examine me, so I got no help for my problem. Later that evening, my arm went completely numb and remained that way. I called his office the next morning and asked to have the MA call me. The receptionist was rude and said "We'll see about that." I waited but no one called me. The next day I requested again, but they never called. I had to start over with another doc. Totally failed me in every way
