Wants you to do what she tells you without explaining why. Had me in a medication that was giving me different side effects as to what she was used to seeing, she did not believe me.

Far from women helping women!
She had been my Dr for years. I went through a very traumatic personal experience and she was the only Dr I trusted. I went 3 years without seeing her and was asked to update information. What I didn't realize is that I wasn't updating anything, I was submitting information for her and her colleague to screen, so that they could decide whether or not to take me on as a new patient. I WAS ALREADY A PATIENT! I was informed by the office manager that Dr. Guepet wouldn't treat me because I had not been "compliant" with my birth control. I was never informed that treatment was contingent on "compliancy". I'm in pain, disappointed and terrified!!! And now have to wait a week to be seen by not only a new doctor, but a male doctor if I want to be treated before November. This practice is NOT about women helping women!

I enjoy going to see Dr. Guepet. The atmosphere is phenomenal, from the time you enter the door until leaving. She is very informative and patient. She takes really good care of you and her smiles said it all. I would recommend her. I drive almost two hours to visit and it’s well worth the drive. Wonderful facility!!!

Wanda Brown – Jan 21, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Guepet?
I had gone to Dr Brown and he changed offices. Thought I’d give them a shot but no way. Just needed a refill of prescriptions of hormones to get me through to my appt in 3 weeks. That was the soonest they could get me in even though they cancelled my appointment I had in June. Stated they would not refill it until I had a mammogram. I didn’t have time to do that before I ran out of my Rx. Not very understanding even though my last mammogram was a 3D mammogram a year ago. Did NOT feel comfortable with this office and going back to Dr Brown who treated me much kinder with understanding and got my refill until he can get me in to be seen within a few weeks. What a pain!

Dr Guepet is the most condescending doctor that I have ever met. She takes advantage of your insurance by requiring an office visit for general test results. I tried to like her for 4 years. I finally transferred back to my BIrmingham gynecologist!
