Excellent Internist!
I have been seeing him for quite a few years and he is an excellent medical doctor. Knowledgable and thorough. Caring. He explains everything in depth. And he has a friendly personality. I have referred 5-6 friends and family to him and they all like him and are very happy.

Dr. Yokoyama is my Primary Care Physician and has been for several years. I trust him and have a good working relation with him and his staff. One minor problem is getting an appointment. He is very good therefore very busy.

I will never forget how poorly this doctor treated me. It's been about 0 years since I left my health insurance and stopped going to Scripps altogether because he was totally rude to me during an appointment.

1 star - Administration. Dr.Yokoyama is amazing. The ladies on the front desk are not clear with what are they charging you for self pay.Then I get a bill month later from the lab. I called to ask them and the lady (Becca) told me that lab is billed separately and they assumed that patients know and that its not their job. Well, we find out when the bill comes. On my last visit it took 6 people, and 3 hours to process my payment. I sat in the lobby for 3 hours and no one cared to explain that.
