Dr. Christopher Vincent, DO

Dr. Vincent was considerate, thoughtful and thorough during my visit. I never felt rushed, or less than. He has great bedside manner, even cracking a joke or two! I was really nervous about my appointment for encephalopathy, but he quickly calmed me with his demeanor and knowledge. I highly recommend Dr. Vincent for all your brain needs! His nurse was absolutely incredible, too! We joked and she made me smile! Great appointment during a difficult time!

I have seen Dr Vincent over the last 4 years for severe concussion/occipital nerve headaches. He has listened, given direction and helped me through a very difficult time. He carefully prescribed medication and is able to explain everything about the effects. He is interested in the whole body, not just the head. Now that my pains have improved he is slowly getting me off the drugs. Thank you Dr. Vincent for all your help and guidance.

Dr. Vincent is understanding and takes time to listen to his patients. He is thorough and meticulous. I have been going to him since 2008 when he was with Ohio Health and followed him to Cleveland Clinic, and would follow him again, within reason of course. But would only entertain another neurologist if referred by Dr. Vincent. My migraines were horrible, the ER kind. With Dr. Vincent they are under control and understood. Dr. Vincent is quick to find answers to any and all issues and concerns. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Vincent was patient and thorough in his assessment of my health concerns. I didn’t feel rushed,which is a very positive feeling when seeing a specialist in his field. He ordered additional tests that have yet to be completed. I’m praying for the best.

I was really disappointed when Dr. Vincent left his practice in Columbus. My husband told me not to be upset we will go where he goes if he stays in Ohio. Now that he's at Cleveland Clinic, I have set up an appointment with him. He's truly the best. He spends time with you, listens to you and truly cares about his patients. We don't mind driving 100 miles to see him. He is very good and I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Vincent for caring.

I was a patient of Dr. Vincent’s for approximately nine years. He was initially very thorough in his evaluations and explained his treatment plan and the reasoning behind all actions taken. His bedside manner was always somewhat brash and his thinking was a bit rigid. However, over the last two years he became extremely rigid and to question him in the smallest way seemed to set him off in to a behavior that was not only unprofessional, but actually abusive in tone and manner. I am not sure what caused this decompensation in his personality but it was severe enough for me to no longer feel he had the patients best interest at heart. I severed the doctor-patient relationship at that point. He has left the practice as of November 2019, so this review is just a ‘food for thought’ for his new patients in his new practice in Cleveland. No patient deserves abuse from a physician, especially those with neurological or cognitive deficits as those patients are already a vulnerable population.

Rude staff. The doctor is always wait at least 30 mintues. I waited 1 hour and 15 mintues and he never showed up. Don’t go! Ohio has so many doctor who really reapect your time and you as human being.

Office is not professional or helpful. They do not call to remind patients of appointments and also not flexible if you are running late. They also give wrong number to set up appointments.

refyaed to schedule ahead so I could get my two approved Botox treatments done this calendar year while my insanely high deductible had already been met. The lady that called for scheduling was rude and nasty and didn't transfer to his nurse like she said she would. His MA allied back but was combative and rude. staff doesn't give a hoot abouut patients and the treatments they need. Now I can't have my Botox done by then,have to be 91days apart and can't pay for 2nd one by Jan1 out of pocket.

Dr. Vincent can appear a little dry, but if you're very open, honest and direct with him, he listens very well and tries everything in his power to help alleviate your pain.

Dr. Vincent is rude and inconsiderate. I arrived to my appointment a few minutes late (because I cannot drive and was relying on public transportation). After a long wait, I was able to see the doctor greeted me by saying that for the rest of the day his patients would be mad at him for running behind and it was all my fault. He rushed through my appointment, did not listen to my questions, and gave me a prescription without explaining that it could affect the efficiency of my birth control.

I saw dr Vincent about 5 years ago. I was being treated for an AVM (a cluster of blood vessels in the right frontal lobe of my brain and w/ the second to the last visit I was so blown away from the abusive things he said to me one of which was "I don't even like people with PTSD", which he knew I had. Then after he left the office I felt so abused as if he had hurt me physically or something. I wanted to tell the elderly lady at the front desk but I was afraid she wouldn't believe me. Horrible.

Dr. Vincent is very matter of fact and a bit dry, but he's a very good Dr. Talk to him openly and honestly and he's very compassionate and driven to help figure out the best treatment options for you. I'm very happy I found him. He has helped me manage a very difficult diagnosis.

He got so upset with me for a reason I don't even remember but he verbally abused me so bad, including telling me that he didn't even like people with PTSD, knowing I have it. When he was done with his abusive speech, he left the room so I could go to the front desk and make an appointment.
