NEVER!
Dr Sutter performed a core biopsy with a large "needle" on my best friend, WITHOUT ANY ANESTHESIA! She was initially given a small amount of medication that wore off while waiting on a gurney for 2 hours. She screamed and cried the rest of the day! She had a high tolerance to pain too and previously never took any medication. My dear Teresa passed from cholangeocarcinoma last April. The cancer was going to take her, but that procedure shocked me to my core. University Hospitals has some outstanding physicians, but this guy is not one of them.

prostate artery embolization
Am a 77 year old male who had a PAE procedure with Dr Sutter on March 20, 2023. The procedure went very well and was successful. During a visit before the procedure, Dr. Sutter spent almost an hour with me throughly explaining the process, its success rate and possible negative consequences , the benefits, the immediate side effects, the recovery process and typical recovery time. It’s been six days now and my recovery is progressing nicely. Dr. Sutter is knowledgeable, an excellent technician, and always there to answer questions. His staff is also great. I highly recommend Dr. Sutter. There is not a better radiologist in NE Ohio. Thank you Dr. Sutter.
