Awful!
He is so arrogant and very disinterested in you and getting to the root of the problem. He actually looked bored during my visit! He has absolutely no bed side manner and makes you feel like you are wasting his time! I left there feeling worse than before I even met with him!

Jan 2021: Dr. Sumey was so kind and thorough. He made me feel cared for and explained the procedure/outcome in terms I could understand. When he did my bone marrow biopsy, most people said it would be quite painful, but it was not (I do have a high pain threshold, tho.) His staff and the nurse in the room were all so very personable and helpful and comforting. Dr. Sumey was so efficient, swift and done in a flash -- only a few moments of lots of pressure he had to apply, and then a minor burning sensation for a couple seconds, then some required pressure after on the wound. I told him he was awesome, and he said I was a very good patient (probably tells everyone that?!). He said I won't need to see him for a year unless a concern arises, & to call or message him with ANY questions, yippee! So for now with a diagnosis of CLL, I am one of those W&W patients (wait & watch). Praise God. Thank you, Dr. Sumey and staff for your wonderful patient rapport and excellent expertise!
