Bad experience
I found Dr Ruisi to be extremely uncaring. As a woman who swore to never see male physicians again, I made a mistake following through with seeing Dr Ruisi.

Excellent Cardiology Specialist.
I was referred by my cardiologist to Dr Ruisi for ablation surgery, several months ago. I had a significant number of PVC’s as well as very poor ejection fraction numbers. Dr. Ruisi and his team operated on me and the outcome was very successful. I now have a normal heartbeat, without PVC’s and an acceptable ejection fraction. My hat is off to Dr. Ruisi and his entire surgical team, as well as the excellent nursing staff at Baptist Heart Hospital in Jacksonville FL.

Excellent. Switched to him from another EP with no bedside manner. So glad I did as Dr. Ruisi explained everything to me in detail. Calls me himself after testing to check on me. Very professional and compassionate.

Absolutely perfect. Takes his time, explains everything and is so caring. Even calls your home to check on you. Couldnt ask for a more caring competent Dr. So lucky to have him.

Even by today's rush in rush out medical standards Dr Ruisi rates as a low in patient involvement. He may be technically competent, I have no way to judge, but any concerns you might have are of no interest to him.

First met Dr. Ruisi as a referral for an ablation. Explained the benefits and potential risk involved, and made me feel at ease with my decision. Also explained that one day we'd need to visit getting a pacemaker as well. Fast forward a year and half, and while in the hospital for CHF, Dr. Ruisi said that now was the time to get the pacemaker. He was open and honest and said we could wait, but doing it now was going to be the best move.

extremely late and not able to confirm appointment for procedure. I have been waiting day after day for 7-days to get a procedure done. very unprofessional.
