Love Hate
As I get ready for a shoulder replacement surgery, I worry that Dr. Olsen seems to think that all the scars on my hands and arms are from intravenous drugs or self cutting. They are from neither. I have done dog training and raised puppy litters for over 35 years. All my scratches come from flyball, agility, frisbee, and puppies with sharp nails scratching me and leaving some thin scars on my arms and hands. The Dr. told me he does not prescribe pain medication as if I was asking for pain medication when I was not. Worries me to have a person cut me up and replace my shoulders and then expect me to go get pain relief from a family doctor. I think he has been dealing with too many druggies. Im not one of them.

Dr.Olson operated in an emergency response situation to give me a total hip replacement after I had a hard fall at the library 15 years ago. He had never seen me before-he was so gentle and SO very professional-I NEVER had any issues walking or climbing stairs in all these succeeding years. I never even limped! He is an amazing doctor and I heartily recommend him! No one would know I had a titanium hip if I didn't tell them! He was and IS a Godsend.

Dr. Olson recently performed a revision of my left total knee arthroplasty. The original surgery was done in 2019 by a different surgeon. I saw Dr Olson and after working with him trying conservative measures, he resurfaced my patella and replaced and repositioned the tibial insert. After 17 months of almost continual pain, I am now in pt and improving each day!! Thank God for Dr. Olson!!!

He could not find my problem with my foot and had me go to a specialist to get an insert for my shoe. I was in extreme pain with my foot. My husband doctor, internal medicine, found my problem and knew right away what was wrong. He took a x-ray and saw a problem on my spine. First medication and when that do take care of it I had an MIR. I should get information this week about the MIR, but was told I would probably get an injection. I am so happy a doctor found my problem because I was in pain with my foot for two years. I'm feeling so much better now.
