Dr. Christopher Obeime, MD

We waited over an hour and thirty minutes to see Dr. Obeime. After waiting to be seen, we had to use the restroom. We were told the restroom was out of order and the staff restroom was not open to patients. When Dr. Obeime finally saw my daughter, he rushed through the appointment. I understand that doctor's offices can be crowded. The frustration came when he acted like we were inconviencing him. He did not look at my daughter's face (the main reason for the appointment). He also became irritated when I asked him questions about the prescribed medicine. It's unfortunate because I believe Dr. Obeime is a good doctor. I think he is overwhelmed. His assistant was the only one who treated us with kindness and concern. I know it may not matter much to his staff or him, but my daughter and I will not be returning. Maybe we caught him on a bad day. A couple of years ago, when we visited with Dr. Obeime regularly, he was kind and showed concern, but things have changed.

I have been a patient for several years. Dr. Obeime has always been punctual, it has been easy to get an appointment, his staff is friendly and warm, his office manager is great, and my concerns have been addressed and the prescribed treatment for several different issues has always worked the first time around. He is very knowledgeable and I have received the proper diagnosis. The office is modern, very clean, and the decor is quite elegant. Dr. Obeime has listened to my concerns and I have had adequate time during my appointment and have never felt rushed. On my last visit several weeks ago, there was a medical student from Marion University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine, studying to be a DO, doing a rotation. I like that Dr. Obeime is open to having students and is teaching our next generation of physicians. I highly recommend Dr. Obeime.

To start, you walk in and the staff continue to talk to each other as if you didn't walk in. After their conversation, they acknowledge you. They want you to use a pharmacy where you get a 'discount'. If you request a different one, they will not call your prescription in and they don't follow-up on things that need authorization so YOU are responsible for calling your insurance company and hoping they complete the paperwork. They can't give estimates on when you will know the results of your test. Had students in the room during procedure and did not ask for consent before allowing them to stay in the room to watch the procedure. Uncomfortable with that. Not everyone feels okay with having students watch them undress especially when students are of the opposite sex. Back to the 'discount' pharmacy they want you to use. That's just weird. Doctor was okay. No issues with him, but staff made this a horrible experience and still don't know when results are coming back.

Dr Obeime is fantastic and I have given his name out to friends dozens of times. Super knowledgable and always has lots of options on how to treat. He is up to date with new practices and medications which is why I want to see a specialist.

Dr. Obeime and his staff welcome me with a smile and are always on time. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr.Obeime diagnoses and treats the conditions of our family with accuracy and speed. Our entire family has relied on him for 10 years. His knowledge is unparalleled. He is friendly and good with a range of demographics from kids to elderly, men and women of all races and backgrounds. Elite or not. We also appreciated that he understood how we would have options to weigh like the effectiveness of medicines and price. We recommend everyone we know to him.

The Dr saw my spouse and immediately saw that he had a vey serious condition and sent him to the correct physician, he is a wonderful Dr.

Although he seems like a nice and guy and many referred, I wouldn't. I went to him for an ongoing issue which he dismissed saying it was my jewelry (which isn't case). The staff is rude and billing is blindsiding. I'm not a fan

Early this year, my skin suffered a bad reaction which I later found out to be melasma. As a social services worker full time and a part time model, this has greatly affected my self esteem. Prior to meeting Dr. Obeime, I met with another dermatologist at the Eagle Creek location that prescribed me hydrocortisone. At that time, I was informed that I had a case of eczema and advised to apply cream to my face for 2 months. Unfortunately, my skin condition seem to worsen. Therefore, I decided to google other dermatologists for a 2nd observation. That's when I found Dr. Obeime from a simple google search. Upon meeting Dr. Obeime, he was very welcoming and he had pleasant demeanor. He made me feel better about myself within minutes of meeting him and reassured me that his treatment recommendation would offer me positive results. I am really excited to have found a doctor who is very knowledgeable and passionate about helping others. I am looking forward to beginning my treatment journey!

Nice guy but I just left his office for a knowingly cruel and quite embarrassing skin condition and he has an assistant their with him. It was uncomfortable, he did not look at my condition after my hesitation (due to an addt’l party in the room)BUT prescribed me medicine and offered up another serious medication, Humira, after I said I was there for scarring, I wanted help with scarring. This was my first and last visit unfortunately. He may be your guy but I have a serious condition that takes a bit more compassion and competence.

I have found Dr. Obeime very knowledgable and has always provided excellent care. The staff is likewise friendly and helpful.

Saw him once to diagnose a skin condition. Would not go back.

This was my first visit and it went very well. He was on time. I did not have to wait. Staff was friendly. When Dr. Obeime came in he was very friendly and professional. Dr. assistant explained everything.

I tried most of this morning to make an appointment with Dr Obeime. The recording stated that they were busy and I should try my call again. OK. I can understand a busy office. On my 4th try they answered. I mentioned the recording and I was told in no uncertain terms that I must have been calling another office as they answer all calls. I stated that I must have the correct office when the Doctor’s full name was mentioned on the recording. The “receptionist” was more than rude again stating I was incorrect three times. Finally I said enough of this BS, I just want an appointment. She gave me a date and time then placed me on hold. I had had enough of the Doctor’s staff and disconnected the call. They called back 10 minutes later but I was busy and they could call later. I wonder if Christopher Obeime MD may come to the startling conclusion that not only is he a Doctor, he is also in sales of his skills. His staff is a direct reflection of him. I’ll only accept reply’s from Dr. Obeime

Missed a melanoma diagnosis with my wife years ago that would have killed her. Fortunately we trusted our instinct and went elsewhere. Next place recognized this was an aggressive cancer - was in fact stage 3 and she received the proper treatment. Had we stayed with Dr Obeime, my wife would not be here today.

Dr. Obeime is very professional and he makes you feel relaxed.

Dr Obeime is a excellent caring physician. Listens to your concerns and has always treated my problem or eczema with concern. I recently traveled from Ohio to see him since suffering with a eczema since July with no relief. Staff is extremely helpful and there was no wait time. In just a few days my eczema with the correct medication is 60% improved. He is also the dermatologist for several friends and family members who think very highly of him.

I have rosea and Dr Obeime has given me my confidence back. He is a very carrying Doctor. He takes time to actually listen to me. I drive 2 hours one way to see him. I without hesitation recommend him.

I went to Dr. Obeime on my lunch hour as I'm a busy working mom. First visit I waited in the waiting room for 20 mins. and in the exam room for another 30. I nearly just walked out due to frustration but gave him the benefit of the doubt hoping it was a rare occurrence. After another 20 mins. in the waiting room on visit 2 I asked the desk staff about rescheduling as I couldn't wait that day. They were rude, acting as if I was out of line to expect him to respect my schedule.

absolutely by far the most rudest unhelpful doctor I have ever seen in my life. I would feel so sorry for anyone who let this man treat them
