Due to Dr Nelson's lack of proper care of me I have permanent knee damage forever. You risk you heath by seeing Dr Nelson. I will regret trusting him with my care the rest of my...now, diminished quality of life. Please dont let it be you or your loved one. Something is very wrong with Dr Christopher M Nelson & the "care" he provides his patient's. Who knows how many others will & or have had similar experiences with him.

I've been with Dr. Chris Nelson for over 2 years and have never, ever had anything but positive experiences with him or the health care team. Dr. Nelson listened to my concerns, set up labs, review results, and helped guide me to develop a treatment plan for my health conditions. We've communicated via the Providence MyHealth Care app and never experienced any issues with his bed side manner.

Would not recommend. Didn't have good bedside manner. Seemed dismissive to our concerns, was not reassuring, never smiled, seemed very sour through out the entire exam... not what I would have expected for a first visit. Very disappointed.

This is the kind of healthCARE you get from a C student. The three sisters would be ashamed of this man, the horrible stuff people said are absolutely true except for the statement that said he is intelligent. He is absolutely not. My friend laughed, "What is concussion specialist? Are they even doctors? They didn't make the cut to neurology so they got a certificate? Ha!"

Dr. Nelson is very attentive with great chair side manor. I bring a lot of problems to the exam room and Dr. Nelson gave me the time I needed and answered my questions. He was on time and not rushed.

Dr Nelson does not seem to see the Dr/Patient relationship as collaborative. When questioning decisions or expressing concerns with medication Dr Nelson can be very dismissive . He does not seem to appreciate or have interest in questions or concerns. Spend most of his time in an appt staring at his screen, does not remember your condition the next time you see him, The lack of concern/interest in feedback from the patient, makes me question how good his decision making can be.

Dr. Nelson lacks the "care" in healthcare. His demeanor is grandiose and distant, and comes across as oppositional rather than collaborative and supportive.

BE careful. Doctor is intelligent but has tendency to impose himself on patients and tend to be condescending if you disagree with him. There were other reviews about this doctor that did not expound on the interaction between patient and doctor. But now I understand what they are talking about. Perhaps the anonymity protects these other patients.

I would recommend him however getting an appointment to see him can take a couple weeks. Once in he has a good bed side manner and is pretty good so far this being said I have only seen him once so far,
