Dr. Christopher Lajeunesse, MD

My mother is his patient. Behind closed doors he is completely rude and dismissive and shouted at my mother. He has zero compassion and arrogant to a fault. She is unwell and has questions. He is nice in front of colleagues but wait until the door closes to his office. This person took over Dr. Cross’s patient list and has never been pleasant unless someone is watching. My mom is afraid to file a complaint. I have never heard anything good about him from others so my mother isn’t the only one.

This doctor did not appear to understand his patient was dying, so did not recommend the palliative care that would have made the patient's death more comfortable and helped family with the emotional preparation.This doctor excluded family from his discussions with the patient, even when the patient clearly was no longer able to understand and process complex information.This doctor showed clear reluctance to answer questions and provide information to family members.

Zero rating. Worst Doctor ever in Bracebridge. He is rude, dismissive, and very arrogant. He does not have the best interest in your health at all. It’s like you are a big inconvenience. I hardly see a doctor but the past year was not good for me. He says one thing and then says the complete opposite, mixed messages. He argues with you and wont listen to your concerns. He says if you feel that bad go to the hospital. He forgets, he works for you. Not compassionate at all. Finally left and now go to a NP and immediately did testing on me and resolved my issue. Stay away from this so called Doctor. He should not be practicing as a family doctor."
