Spoke with 3rd party answering service about coming in 7/21/22 for exam for strep throat (white lesions on tonsils, temp and difficulty swallowing). Told I was not allowed in the office with those symptoms and I would have to submit to the Covid swipe before nurse looked at any other possible test. I refused and went to a local Urgent Care. Stopped in & was examined by the PA who said she would start with the rapid strep test. It came back positive and I was placed on an antibiotic. Isn't this the way Health Care should work?? -Rule out the obvious - then move to the next possibility if needed. Did I also have Covid? Possibly. But Covid is a viral infection and nothing can be done to treat it on the front end outside of "comfort drugs." If I would have tested positive for Covid at the Dr. - would he have gone on to test for strep - IDK. Strep is bacterial and must be treated with antibiotics. Seems Ohio Health is placing priority in federal Covid Cash Care instead of Patient Care

He is a great doctor. You are not just dollar signs to him. You become like family! He explains everything so you can understand it easy. My kids love him!
