Dr. Hoffman was the hospitalist on the surgical floor when my family member had a hip replacement. He was extremely rude, and accused me of exaggerating her symptoms. When later x-rays revealed a complication that was quickly remedied, he did not apologize for his rude behavior, nor the days of unnecessary pain she experienced due to his negligence.
