Horrible Physician
***Edited***I was told by Healthgrades that I needed to revise my review. I guess they felt like I should water it down some. Unsure as to how Dr Herzer received two, 5 star reviews. Possibly family/friends? He has neglected to provide my spouse with proper medical care needed. My spouse has seen this doctor several times over the last 2+ years with the same 2 issues (possible cancer) and he will not provide additional testing or a referral to a specialist. My spouse’s symptoms are getting worse and still nothing. I spoke with my own physician about my spouses symptoms, and my physician stated there absolutely needs to be testing performed and a specialist referral. It’s not just my spouse that has been dealt with this- several people that work with my spouse have seen Dr Herzer and all stated they didn’t receive referrals needed or the help they needed. We would have switched physicians years ago, but due to my spouse being in the military, that is not possible.

Dr. Herzer is absolutely the best doctor in the world. He is attentive, caring, thorough and quick to smile. He is the treasure of the Naval Hospital. If I were rich and he was for sale, I'd buy him in an instant. Then he would be my family doctor forever. If you're fortunate enough to get him, count yourself lucky.
