Dr. Christopher Hawkins, MD

He performed a RESUM procedure on my prostrate at Charlotte Ave. office in January. I’ve seen improvement improvements since then.

Wife had a CT scan and was diagnosed with kidney stones that required surgery to install stint and break up the stone. Dr Hawkins was the person assigned to do the surgery. They put my wife under anesthesia and put their equipment up inside her and said the kidney stone was no longer there. So the doctor did not install stents or do anything to any kidney stones. After the procedure she was hurting worse than before. She started peeing blood and was in extreme pain. I took her to Ascension Rutherford 3 days later and they performed a CT scan and found that the kidney stone is still there and has grown another millimeter and there are also some small kidney stones in her other kidney that weren't even mentioned at summit. Now she is in bad shape. She has been through tons of unnecessary pain. Now she has to go through the surgery again and is scared to death since Dr. Hawkins only made things worse. Terrible Experience. On top of that you still have to pay for the procedure in which the Doctor did nothing but hurt her worse. Never again with this doctor. I would not recommend him to work on anyone. Doctors have an oath to only benefit the health of their patients. This doctor made things worse for his patient.

I have been to doctor Hawkins for several years now and I find him to be very knowledgeable in Urology. He listens to everything you have to say, Has a good demeanor, and gives you options and recommends the apocopate one for you and explains why. He actually has a personal relationship with his patients.

Dr. Hawkins is the best! The wait times are ridiculous, but the compassion he gives is top notch.

Dr. Hawkins performed a procedure on my husband that has forever changed our lives for the worse. When my husband went to another doctor, whom we have learned was a leader in the problem that my husband had, that doctor told us the procedure performed by Dr. Hawkins was an old procedure, known to be fraught with problems, that is no longer used. Be very careful. Our lives will never be the same. I feel so badly for my husband; I wish I could have stopped him before he saw this doctor. I encourage you to listen to the voices of those who had a bad experience. We are real people who, sadly, put our trust in this man’s hands.

This doctor sucks!! He pressured my dad into having a risky procedure done. Which for years all his doctors told him he wasn't a candidate for surgery.My dad was sent home. And he died that night. I wouldn't let this doctor remove a bandaid from me.

Very thorough doctor. He has taken time to discuss any issues, procedures or medications every time I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Hawkins is all business, yet he has the personality of a friend. So caring .

Dr Hawkins attended to me for emergency catheter placement at Summit. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He had pulled up and reviewed my records quickly. He assembled his team and attended to me quickly as I was in extreme pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Hawkins to anyone needing a Urologist
