The office is friendly and helpful. Dr Hawkins was very attentive and knowledgeable, took time to show me X-rays and explain them, plus answered my questions. Never seemed in a hurry. Definitely recommend him!

Honestly, the best doctor I ever spoke with. He was very knowledgeable. He gave me the time to ask questions. He genuinely cared about my well-being and gave me reasonable options. I went to him for a second opinion and he gave me great information.

I saw Dr. Hawkins for the first time to review imaging on my shoulder. He has excellent people skills and explained what the MRI showed in detail. I would recommend Dr. Hawkins for anyone considering seeing a surgeon.

Left me in "stitches". Sorry...pun intended. Very knowledgeable. Personality like no other doctor I've met. He gets right to my issues, and explains things in a way that I completely understand. Very genuine. And he seems to love people. And loves his work. His enthusiasm is completely contagious.

Although I am retired, I am very active in golf and skiing. He recognizes this and explains all of the treatments and options for treatments on my knees that allow me to continue to be active. (He doesn't treat me like an "old" woman. He really listens and takes as much time as needed to examine me and to talk to me.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. When I got back to the room, the dr didn’t ask me much other than how long the pain has been, and if I’d injured it, he didn’t have my MRI results even tho I’d given them the info to get them when I setup the appt. He made me super uncomfortable and kept cutting me off when I was trying to talk. He was uncomfortably energetic and touchy. He told me nothing was that wrong with my knee, grabbed it multiples times after me saying how bad it hurt, I finally had to shove his hand off my knee. After I shoved his hand off my knee, he ended up leaving and not returning, but before he left he did that smack smack on my back like buddies would do to each other and it made my skin crawl. Do NOT touch me. I’m here for chronic pain, don’t smack my back. Nothing came of the appt, tried fitting me with a brace that pushed right on the problem spot, and told me they’ll call me to fit me with another kind soon. Most unhelpful appt I’ve ever had.

I was pleased with overall service, staff handled a change in X-ray appointment efficiently, Dr Hawkins explained procedure in detail and had “good hands” with a needle.

I have seen any orthopedic surgeons in my life. Many have been excellent. Dr. Hawkins is among those. He is knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly. Just had surgery with him a few weeks ago and I feel it was a success

Awesome, Great Doctor and fun guy to visit with! Treated my shoulder pain with cortisone shots and we BS’d about workouts! He Carries a really positive and contagious vibe!

OAA and Dr Hawkins are doing an outstanding job with COVID safety guidelines.

Dr. Hawkins is amazing. Besides being friendly and sincere, he takes the time to talk about options, both immediate and in the future. Dr. H listens, and works with you to come up with a plan. I feel that he truly cares about his patients’ wellbeing. I never feel like I am pushed through at OAA, like I have at other medical offices. Dr. H keeps me on my feet and moving!

Dr. Hawkins and the staff are absolutely fantastic! Above all else, they are professional, but are also friendly and caring. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr Hawkins and his team to anyone and everyone.
