This Doc is absolutely great!
First timers, both my husband and I went together for our annual body scan. Dr. Chu is very personable, professional and thorough. He gave us quality time getting to know us, and reviewed many options for my husband's treatments, before he proceeded to treat him right there in the office. He is very well informed in his field, and yet very warm and hospitable. I HIGHLY recommend.

I took my son for acne treatment. Dr. Chu and his assistant are professional, reliable and highly knowledgeable.They attentively listened to my concerns, addressed with professionalism and then Immediately suggested courses of action for treating the acne as severe as my son. Dr Chu is very confident and sure about the treatment plan he provided, we can feel that he has everything in his mind, which is the greatest comfort to the patient, we felt that we are seeing the silver lining out of the cloud. Highly recommend it!

Great experience
This is my first visit to Pure Dermatology and I have already transferred my records from my existing long term Dermatologist. Dr. Chu is incredibly personable and made me feel very comfortable as he gathered info about my history. The exam that followed was the most thorough I’ve experienced in years. I highly recommend Dr. Chu and the staff members at Pure Dermatology.

Dr. Chu is a 3rd year resident in Dermatology. They are in a hurry there. Although I had my records faxed from my previous doctor, he never took time to read it. His exam was not as thorough as what other dermatologists had done. He never looked at my buttocks or the bottom of my feet. He treated a benign growth with a cryosurgery tool (freezing), but he never gave me any information about care of the wound; I had to get it from the Internet. Not going back there.
