Modern and Friendly Clinic
Seen on time, everyone very positive and helpful. Good communication from the nursing team and the patient portal had my interim blood results posted before I got home.

Very Dismissive Dr.
Seeing Dr. Chay has been the worst experience that I have ever had with any Dr. ever. From the very beginning any questions or concerns or conversations that I tried to have with him about the treatment plan was dismissed. My husband tried to ask question & he was dismissed. I think the mass majority of people hope to Never receive a cancer diagnosis, it hits you quick & hard & leaves you with so many questions. The first steps after being diagnosed is to see a Dr & talk about your treatment options & its VERY disheartening to end up with a Dr that won't even hear you out or communicate, who lacks empathy, compassion & makes you feel like you can't have any input or discussion about how to keep yourself alive & here with your loved ones. If anyone reading this is facing battling cancer, PLEASE consider this review & seek treatment through someone else. It very crushing to be in the fight of your life & to feel like you don't matter to who is suppose to be treating you.

Dr Chay at Messino Cancer Center has been great.
Messino Cancer Center of Franklin has been great. I have been a patient with them since 2019. They have always been professional and very thorough in treatments and testing. Dr Chay is my doctor at Messino and I’m glad that I’m with him, he has saved my life several times. He has always made me feel good about what needed to done next with my cancers. At Messino they have many doctors and they all specialize in different cancers but work together to get the treatments right. The nurses take care of everything I need. When I needed surgery, bone marrow biopsy, PET scan, CT scans, blood transfusions and radiation therapy they set up my appointments. They have worked very hard to make this easier on me.

I was able to get into see Dr. Chay within a week. I had Stage 2 Ovarian and Perintonael Cancers. Dr Chay hit the ground running with my treatments. Explained everything and my options to me, clearly and very concise. My surgeon at Wake Forest Baptist told me thanks to Dr. Chay's knowledge and response, I am alive. Peritoneal Cancer is a fast moving cancer with a low success rate. I recommend Dr. Chay to everyone I know who has cancer.

I’ve about had it with this guy. What an egotist. VERY dismissive. ZERO respect for patient's knowledge base. Criticizes if patient/patient care taker has questions between visits. Heaven forbid if patient/family ask for clarification. Wants to pigeonhole patient’s opportunity to ask questions to to once every 2 wks within a 30 min window of time appt w/provider. Messino patient portal is extremely ineffective. I feel like we pay Chay enough that he needs to LISTEN and be empathetic vs dismissive. I will say the staff at Messino Cancer Center in Franklin are absolutely incredible!

Dr, Chay was cold as ice, very impersonal and rude. He was 45 minutes late to my appointment which was the first one of the morning. He interrupted my appointment 4 times by taking personal phone calls. It was clear he had very limited concern for me as a patient. He kept talking about a condition I do not have. Clearly, he was distracted. I would NEVER go back to this doctor.
