Dr. Christopher Castelli, MD

We usually see Dr. Chris Smith and love him so much. Our daughter woke up out of the blue really sick tonight and Dr. Castelli was the on call doctor tonight for GGC. He was gracious enough to give me one minute of his time. I had a literal one minute phone conversation with him and he was rude and short the entire time. When I answered the phone and said, “hello?” He immediately said “how old is the kid and she has a cough?” I told him and all he said was “your options are take her to the er tonight or go somewhere tomorrow near Lost River.” I asked when I needed to take her to the ER and he said “if she seems like she can’t breathe.” I started to say “oh, okay” and ask more and he hung up. The most rude, uncaring and inconsiderate call I’ve ever been on with any healthcare professional. He didn’t ask when this started, or if she had any other symptoms. Completely unprofessional and I pray to never have dealings with him again.

The first and last pediatrician that my daughter will see. His practical and calculated approach to my daughters health care is beyond what I could’ve expected.
