Dr. Busken, knowledgeable and caring.
Dr. Busken really cares about his patients. I was in the hospital for 10 days and even though his part in my treatment was over in the first few days, he came to see me every day. Excellent surgeon and very caring.

Arrogant
I lost all confidence in him when he can to my hospital room bragging about what he did which didn't correct the problem, and he tried it twice with his barbaric methods. He did remove clots from somewhere. He didn't explain from where. My last visit was the final straw. When i asked what he did and why i was no better. He started rubbing his eyes and head and started talking about sending me to Dallas to his mentor to have a rib removed because women were made different from men and they should be able to ballon the vein. I still have no idea what my diagnosis is. I am still suffering 24/7 pain and adema.

Awful!
Very rude and condescending if you ask questions. Just wants to jump into doing procedures, whether you need them or not. Does not like to explain what he is doing or why. Another vasacular dr said that Busken just wants to put stents in everyone. Beware!
