He is a compassionate doctor, 100% trust
It was a rough start for Dr. Buer and I but once he realized I didn't think he could help me and I was just there because I was making my pcp happy, so I didn't need to hear what I was diagnosed by other doctor's was wrong. But I just broke down and he became the most compassionate doctor I have had other than 1 orthopedic. He found medicine that gave me back my life and we are working on a plan to improve me pain more. I 100% trust in him and that is a big deal for me since I have been blown off by so many other doctor's who just mocked me.

Just wants you out of there, honestly
Dr. Beuer and his NP push joint injections and epidurals and nerve ablations without really trying to diagnose the root cause of the symptoms. They were content with regular injections that did not have a lasting effect and basically shrugged my concerns off. I did not feel like they explored options well and they expected me to choose a, b, or c with little explanation of the procedures or any potential risks. The front desk staff have guidelines on how to overbook (no more than 1 overbooking per hour, and not during lunch breaks or the first hour of the day) pinned to the corkboard by their computers. I also received a call from the scheduling staff asking to move my afternoon appointment to 7am because Dr. Beuer had to leave town for a weekend conference. He told me he was going on vacation. ALSO BEWARE: while he is working in a BJC facility, you will be billed by Midwest Anethesia Associates, so be sure you know what your insurance covers

Use caution here!
This is way below standards in my book! I'm so tired of how forgetful that are in doing my med refills and leaving me to go without! The back office staff is great! Front office has attitude! Not sure who screws up on medication refills but it also happen with my mom. Just not as often as me. I found a better place with no complaints! Use caution when visiting here.

This was the most disrespectful, insulting, and unhelpful doctor that I’ve ever seen in my life. Not only did he tell me that he wasn’t able to help, he told me that I should stop trying to find a diagnosis, stop trying to understand my condition, and that I should also stop receiving physical therapy and other pain management exercises since they aren't very helpful. Not only was this the worst experience I’ve ever had with the doctor, which wasn’t worth my time, but they also put me in collections for a bill that I paid upfront. I’ve called their department about this bill several times, and they confirmed I already paid it. Not only is the doctor insulting, but the staff is just as incompetent. I sincerely regret even considering going to go to this doctor, and I thoroughly encourage other people to look elsewhere. If you’re looking for treatment or any kind of relief, do not go here. You do not deserve this kind of disrespect.

Dr. Beuer is an exceptional doctor! I was referred to him by my chiropractor, Dr. Kevin McClain, to whom I am eternally grateful. I suffered intense pain for over two months from a compression fracture. I was able to get surgery that has taken care of the pain. Dr. Beuer is very professional, kind, and truly concerned about his patients. The staff are also very professional and very kind and caring!

This office is the best of the best. I was treated kindly and respectfully from the moment I arrived. The nurses were incredibly compassionate. The doctor took the time to listen and I really like how he gave me a set of options as to where to go from here- we discussed the pros and cons and I made the decisions about what was best for me- very kind and compassionate.

After having the source of my pain mis-diagnosed for over 10 years, he proposed a different potential cause of pain. I was skeptical- after one injection of where he thought the pain was from I am nearly pain free now for almost a year.

I've been seeing Dr. Beuer for over a year now. Before seeing him I saw over half a dozen different pain management doctors. Although I've been taking roughly the same amount of meds, he is the only MD who has suggested alternative relief ideas besides therapy and increasing my meds. He has worked with me to prepare for a SCS (spinal cord simulator), which I'm having implanted next week. He's been very compassionate, he listens attentively, & his office staff is awesome.

As others have said, he has helped me when others said they had tried everything. On top of that, very nice and caring, as is the whole staff. Very highly recommended! On occasion I've had to wait 30 minutes or so, but it's worth it!

I've been to several pain docs but Dr. Beuer was different. He listened to me and actually developed a plan that worked. I'm not sure what he does differently but even the other patients in the waiting room were talking about how he does things differently and it works!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Beuer?
I was referred to him by a great pain doc I had seen for 16years. Dr. Beuer wanted to change what had enabled me to get my Masters, state licensure, state boards, get married, and have a beautiful baby girl! I tried to talk to him. He was condescending, cocky, not open to a educated patient and not concerned with my quality of life at all! His bedside manner is non-existent, he is in the wrong profession! Would not send my pet to him!
