I had an undiagnosed AVM that hemorrhaged and sent me to the e.r. Dr. Griessenauer diagnosed the reason for my stroke as an AVM and recommended surgery. It was successful and I went home 3 days later. It has been seven months since it happened. My speech has improved and I am on my way to how things were before. Dr.Griessenauer saved my life. He was there every day to check on me in the hospital leading up to surgery, and explain to my family in a way that everyone could understand. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon.

Dr. Griessenauer exceeded my expectations. He was very personable and my family and I felt comfortable discussing all of our questions with him. Through my surgery and the aftercare, he was very compassionate with us. You can tell just by speaking with Dr. Griessenauer that he is an incredibly intelligent physician. I hope I never need to give neurosurgeon recommendations to my friends or family, but if I did, I would certainly recommend him!
