Diagnosis
I was apparently diagnosed with HPV high risk. Then she told me she would do a procedure to “remove” precancerous cells. I looked at the test results online and it was strange. Then I went back to my primary care and she had her doctor do the exam and she was in the room with me and she told me I didn’t have any HPV and my pap was normal. So I really do not know the truth because the “procedure “ she did said she only put a camera in on the small cells. But she told me it was for freezing and then scraping the cells off. She never told me to take any kind of medication before the procedure. Told me to come back again in a week. Then not even a week later she no longer worked there. So I don’t get it. I got a new doctor. Says I don’t have any HPV. But then again I don’t know who is telling the truth. Or maybe she did do the procedure and or I don’t understand what happened. I don’t say she is a bad doctor. But I sure was confused.

Wonderful Physican!! I would absolutely recommend her to everyone. I don’t believe the low ratings! I found her to be patient, empathetic and knowledgeable. Not once did she rush me and instead listened to my concerns and questions before I made an informed decision about my care. Best decision I’ve made for myself is switching to Dr. O’Connor!

BEWARE! Dr. Chistine E O’Connor REQUIRES to do exam and talk with your minor child without parent being present. This doctor should not be anyone’s choice to care for a teen daughters gynecology. I was never told at any point prior to the visit that it will be required by this doctor that the parent will need to leave the room at any point. She came into the office and was very cold and almost rushed. She made very little eye contact and her demeanor was condescending but that’s not even the kicker. She strong armed me to leave the room stating that this is something that gynecologist require even though my daughter is only age 15. I told her sev times that I was not OK with that. Ultimately, she talked with my daughter and did an exam without me being present. When I asked my daughter I was told that no other medical staff was present in the room during exam. I’ve later learned that you can always contact QIO if ever you feel something was not handled properly with you or your child.

Impatient when explaining results. Poor bedside manners. She does not build strong doctor-patient relationships with the women she treats. She is not warm and engaging.

Dr. O'Connor has changed my life. I hate to see a 2.5 star review because I just can't believe that to be true! I begun seeing her about 6 months ago after having a horrific experience with a GYN that diagnosed me with endometriosis. He diagnosed me, but was rude and not at all helpful when it came to listening to my symptom and the fact that ablation surgery made things worse not better. I had surgery with Dr. C'Connor 6 weeks ago now and she found and excised a lot of endo (thankfully). It was a rough recovery, but I am glad I did it and found a doctor to LISTEN!!! I still have issues here and there but the pain which was the worst part is about 70% decreased which is a huge win. Thanks Dr. O'Connor!

Dr. O'Connor is an amazing gynecologist. She performed my cervical exam quickly and painlessly. Other practitioners have taken much longer resulting in much higher amounts of discomfort and even pain after the procedure. That is not the case with her. She was also nonjudgmental when I expressed my anxiety about the procedure. If you want someone to give you the healthcare analysis and advice you need in a quick and open manner, Dr. O'Connor is a great choice.

I suffered significant pain after she did my procedure. She had no empathy for me or my concerns. I am being treated by my other doctor for issues that I had under her care. Bedside manner is important in physician/patient relationships. We don't have to be best friends, but my goodness don't be an ice queen! I would not recommend her to anyone. She doesn't demonstrate having empathy.

she spent a great deal of time with me, and was socially aware enough to realize that i wasnt disclosing i was already on birth control and why. she took the time to help me find a way that i could obtain birth control much in a much safer manner and made me feel very comfortable. very positive experience overall, she was very attentive and competent. I have been to two other gynos before and this was the best experience.

I had high hopes for Dr. O'Connor and I still have not counted her out however she did lack social skills. Her approach does not create authentic space for sharing and discussing issues that many of us consider some of the very personal. I have been with my prior to GYN for over 20 years so this was a change. Our convo was always fluid and pretty authentic. Christine asked all the necessary questions, but surely lacked any display of empathy. Plus she has not called with exam results.

I had my annual coming up but was experiencing an issue that would prevent me from having a regular exam. I called her to see if I should come in anyway and explained the issue (which I had never experlenced before) to the receptionist. I was worried and wanted to know what to do. She didn't return the call. I called 3 times... no call back. FInally I called and said I would no longer be going to the practice. Didn't seem to matter, no return call. She obviously doesn't care about her patients.

doesn't communicate full test results; nurse tells you what she thinks is important and lets you learn everything else when the results are released; practice has extra charge of 30.00 and billed as services provided by tech who takes weight/blood pressure parking was not fully validated incurring another cost

I would recommend Dr. O' Connor to my family and friends because I felt totally and completely at ease before, during, and after my examine. Let's face it who loves getting a full examine, so if your mind can be at ease, it is worth another visit to that particular doctor. I enjoyed my experience from the receptionist desk to the full examine.
