I was in the ER at St.Lukes Hospital I had a metal object hit my calf area as I was cutting the yard. The object cut my main artery in half and 2 veins. So as I was waiting in a room Dr.Johnson comes in my room and introduces herself and tells me I am gathering a team right now because I am going to operate your wound because this is a very serious injury and your lucky you haven’t lost your leg or your life. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr.Johnson you are an angel to me. Thank you once again ??????

I saw Dr. Christine Johnson for a second opinion appointment. She was excellent. Her diagnosis was different than the diagnosis from a different doctor. Hers was the correct one that saved me from enduring a lengthy, expensive, and possibly harmful treatment. I highly recommend her. She is now my vascular surgeon for all future vascular treatments.

Dr. Dubberke and Dr. Lyons saved my cousin’s life last year when a bifurcated artery in his neck burst. He was medflighted to Baptist and underwent emergency surgery, and we learned afterward that his case was unique—there was literally nothing like it in the books. If they hadn’t gotten creative with a carotid siphon he would have died. Fantastic under pressure and able to think outside the box, plus fabulous bedside manner. She answered all our questions using language we non-medical folks could relate to and even drew diagrams to explain what they did. Words fail to express how blessed and lucky we were that she was there for his surgery.
