Dr. Christie Thomas, MD

Since moving back to Miami I have had a very difficult time trying to find a primary care physician and was basically shuffling from one so-so provider to another. Dr. Thomas is very knowledgeable and has an excellent 'bedside manner.' If you too have been struggling to find a PCP since moving to Miami I would highly recommend giving her a try.

Dr. Thomas professionalism and type of care that involves patients in all decisions about their health and treats them with dignity and respect. Client centered care. Dr. Thomas takes the time to explain her treatment plan and values your feedback. I am 60 years old, I consider myself blessed that she is my physician.

Dr. Thomas is my favorite doctor ever. She has been my PCP for about three years now. Dr. Thomas is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. You can tell that she genuinely cares for her patients' well-being and is devoted to helping them. She excels at preventative medicine and educates on avoiding future health issues while tackling current concerns. I recommend her 110%.

Very energetic. But doing her task in a rush, that is ,at times, leading to incorrect diagnosis. For example ; she wrote no edema of the ankles without doing the physical examination in a proper way in a patient with swollen ankle and foreleg with prominent varicose veins of one leg, which she failed to document. Rushing is inappropriate in the medical field no matter how busy is the physician.

Dr. Thomas has been my primary physician for the past 5 years. Highly knowledgeable, attentive and thorough. A doctor who actually listens, follows up and cares. Thank you!

Dr. Thomas is SPECTACULAR!!! She is my family's doctor, the three of us at home love her and trust her so much! My dad is an elderly and she stabilized him after nobody else could do it at the Jackson Hospital. She is not just a knowledgeable, proactive and wonderful doctor but also a genuine, caring and lovely human being, she really cares about her patients. My husband and I have been patients of Dr Thomas for almost 1 year now. we are always amazed how she listens to our concerns on each visit and also works to not only assist with the needed treatment but to guide us with diet tips, etc to improve our overall health. we are both in our 60's and it is important for our doctor to not just treat the current issue but to educate us on how we can improve our future and live a longer , healthier life. We now exercise more, we eat better after realizing that our everyday life style greatly effects our health. She didn’t listen to my concerns or ask questions directly related to why I was visiting. She ended up spending more time talking about diet and weight which had nothing to do with why I was there. She prescribed me medicine that didn’t work and when I tried to reach her to tell her there was a problem with the meds, someone else called me back and assured I’d hear from her the following day, which I did not.
