Dr. Christie Obukofe, MD

I was charged total fee then they charged my insurance after. Had I not had the app for my insurance showing what was covered I would have never known that I was being overcharged. The payment was explained as “this is what you’ll pay today then we will see what insurance covers”. I spoke to my insurance who let me know I was over charged and also called Dr Obukofe’s office to inform them of their wrong doing. Insurance was told the office manager wasn’t in to take care of it. Its now been over two weeks and the “office manager” still isn’t in. Last wk I was told she works in two offices today as they attempted to over charge me again I spoke to insurance who again said they were incorrect. I was told this time the manager works from home. I tried to show them from the app what it shows I should pay the girl refused to look. I asked them to call insurance themselves they did not. I have no clue what type of scam they’re running but I refuse to go back.

I didn't receive proper care from Dr. Obukofe. This is my first pregnancy and for 5 months I've been seen by her only once and only for 5 minutes. Her staff are friendly and nice but I can't say the same about Dr. Obukofe. None of my calls about some pregnancy questions were returned and I had to drive to the office. She made it super hard for me to switch to another doctor. She still won't send my medical documents to my new doctor and this is preventing me from receiving care from a new Dr where I moved.

I have been Dr. Obukofe's patient since 2017! She helped me with both my pregnancies and each time she has taken her time to hear my questions or concerns. She is very helpful and makes you feel comfortable.

Im an older black female who had lots of fibroids and horrible cycles. Dr. Christi doesn't play about her patients. She listens to all of my concerns even when I didn't think she was listening and writing everything down. She got my health back on track and I have never felt so much better. I would recommend her to any female who is having problems because she will fix you up and don't mind getting a second opinion from md anderson cancer. I love Dr. Christi and trust her completely.

Went in to ask a few preconception questions and she acted like she didn’t have the time to listen for a few minutes. Asked about prenatals.. she was short and quick to say just get whichever ones doesn’t matter how long you take them, good luck. Asked if I needed to get my vaccines up to date.. she said go to a primary care Physician. My thing is, she honestly 100% didn’t seem to give a crap about her patients concerns. Was incredibly quick to dismiss every question/concern. This is my first and very last time going to her. I have never felt more angry and frustrated leaving a “medical professionals“ office. Do yourself a favor and find a good quality OBGYN.

DO NOT COME TO THIS OBGYN , Very rude , induces majority of patients & some of her staff is Horrible . never takes the time to listen to others , shes the worst .

I love Dr. Obukofe she is the best. She treated my daughter with great care. I hope I can get her as my doctor. She is very knowledgeable in what she is doing.

I love Dr. Obukofe. She has delivered all my babies and my sister's. She truly cares about her mommas and babies. I wouldn't trust another Dr to deliver any of my children. Still want one more and if it is to happen, she will definitely be my Doctor again.

She's amazing and very direct. She saved my life after a week at the hospital with other doctors just sat there.
