I had a bad fall & severe facial damage. Dr. Sampsom repaired two areas. The results were exceptional. He is top-class in his craft & the most professional, kind, and considerate man. Patients are very lucky to be cared for by him.

Not thorough enough
Dr. Sampson did not investigate the cause of pain in my wrist. I consequently went to another hand specialist, who ordered an MRI that showed what the problem is. It needs surgery.

In May of 2020 while at a peaceful protest in Boston the police department started firing tear gas into the crowd. I began to flee and fell in a pile of glass severely injuring my left hand. Numerous doctors (and an emergency room visit !) did nothing to fix it. Dr. Sampson (and his extremely helpful office staff) were so cordial. He's a consummate professional who performed an extension in a procedure that was minimally painful. I am grateful for his care. Highly recommended.

Dr.Sampson is a consummate professional. He gets an A+ in both expertise and bedside manner. And his office manager, Christina (sp?) was also very helpful and efficient in arranging my appointment and x-rays.. With regard to my fractured finger, I particularly liked his preference for immobilization over surgery. My experience could not have gone better from beginning to end.

Dr. Christian repaired a ruptured SL ligament in my wrist 4 years ago. After the surgery he explained to me that in addition to the injury, I had arthritis developing in the wrist that he had tried to clean that up as much as possible. If you read the literature, these S-L repairs are tricky and have a high rate of failure. Four years later, I am still playing tennis several times a week. Not only has the repair held up, but I have no pain and full range-of-motion. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Sampson is an exceptional surgeon with a comfortable bedside manner. He removed a problematic melanocyte on my face and I'm very happy with the results-to say the least. The procedure was short and painless but better yet the recovery was amazingly quick and left little to no visible scar! I would highly recommend.
