Dr. Christian Daleiden, MD

Dr. Daleiden is a wonderful doctor that is very efficient, straightforward and trustworthy. He spends time talking with me each time visiting me and I am getting better quickly under his care. He is the one found what my real problem is while I am hospitalized at Methodist hospital. I would recommend him to any of my friends if he has a office because he saved my life.

He was the hospitalist for us during my husbands weeks long stay at Methodist Hospital in Mpls. I would NEVER want a family member or friend to have this man in charge of their care. He was rude, flippant, and dismissive. He acted as if my concerns/questions as a spouse/advocate for my husband, & those of the my husbands' mother (a physician) were trivial. He would not own the situation when we asked for follow-up care & information. He had ZERO accountability. It's no wonder he no longer works there. We requested that he no longer stop in because he became a barrier to progress. I recently ran across an article that made me recall the trauma of our encounters with Dr. Daleiden. "One of the most important parts of what hospitalists do is empathize. Being hospitalized is one of the most vulnerable experiences you will have in your life. Our job is to acknowledge that vulnerability and bring compassion, empathy, and confidence.." Pass him by. There are much better options available.
