Tormenting
Dr Chonyang Albert did my Cardiac Cath. She was impatient with my questions and started getting angry and short with me. I finally couldn't take her awful, undeserved attitude towards me and started to cry. That's when she started yelling at me, yelling not to cry because it would affect the test and make it more difficult to visualize. Her assistants stood around awkwardly, silent. She apparently was unable to go through my wrist, so, loudly and horribly blaming me, she said she'd have to do a femoral artery approach instead, through my groin. I was heavily drugged so I don't remember much, but she said afterwards that I complained and insisted multiple times that it hurt, making her job difficult. I had about an 8' diameter blue and purple bruise that lasted months in my groin area, and I suspect that Dr Chonyang wasn't as gentle as she could've been in doing the test, based on her destructive and venomous frame of mind before and during the radial approach.

Kind, compassionate, gives attention to detail
Dr. Albert has always been very kind and compassionate in all of her interactions. She is very knowledgeable and thorough in her work, and she's very organized in her process and plan of therapy!

October 26, 2023It is with sincere honor that I write in strong support and confidence in my heart doctor, cardiologist, Doctor Chonyang Albert, MD., Cardiology, Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. My wife and I have been befriended and professionally cared for by this doctor for the past three years and we have had nothing but positive interactions with her. There has never been a time that she didn’t enter the exam room with a smile on her face and a positive outlook for me. She gave me hope those times when my depression had set in about my graven condition. Wonderful!
Dr. Albert is an outstanding doctor. She knows everything and she is willing to share her knowledge. She explains your condition, the test results, and her plan thoroughly. She points out other alternatives and she tells why she has chosen her plan. I enjoyed my time with this remarkable doctor. I have had this condition for many years. I have seen many doctors. She is the one I have trusted the most and she is truly the best.

I travelled to Cleveland, OH from Mississippi for a second opinion. I felt comfortable with Dr. Albert and her staff immediately. Her expertise in her field is comforting. I feel beyond blessed to have been cared for her and the staff at the Cleveland Clinic. I feel much better and optimistic about living with heart failure.

Wonderful heart failure doctor
We met Dr Albert 3 years ago when my husband was diagnosed with heart failure. She is a caring and empathetic doctor. She has been with us from the time he was put on the heart transplant list and saw us through the transplant. Dr Albert, top cardiologist
Dr Albert’s enthusiasm and skill as a cardiologist make her one of the best heart doctors. Her knowledge of my heart problem helped get my EF numbers to an almost normal level. She takes her time with me and makes sure I understand everything she is explaining. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a cardiologist. I consider myself privileged to have her as my doctor, she was a life saver!

A Beacon of Excellence - Dr. Albert is the best!
Dr. Albert is the best! From my initial appointment to ongoing treatment, Dr. Albert's expertise and compassion have been unparalleled. After years of not knowing why my heart kept getting worse, I came to the Cleveland Clinic and had an appointment with Dr. Albert. She was able to get my diagnosis and identify what was causing my heart failure, and got me on all the right medicines. It is only due to her that my EF has improved so much after years of frustration and worry. Throughout my appointments, I have always felt reassured and confident that I was in the hands of a true expert. Dr. Albert is also one of the foremost experts in her field, and is often at conferences and giving talks - but this never stops her from taking care of her patients! Any time I call her office, I get a quicker response than I would from most doctors. That's what really makes me love having Dr. Albert as a cardiologist - she is super dedicated to her patients and I know I'm in amazing hands.

Can't get a better cardiologist than Dr. Albert!
Dr. Albert is a phenomenal physician. She always spends a ton of time with me, never makes me feel rushed, and is extremely thorough. She always makes sure I understand what our plan is and why, and makes sure I have everything I need to take care of my heart. Thanks to her, my heart has never been better! I feel really lucky to have her as my cardiologist!

Very surprised by this rating
I guess some people have had good interactions with the Doctor, or the clinic would likely not shoulder the liability of employing her. But I am wondering how many more opportunities to harm my wife will be allowed? Opt for a different doctor, or insist a department head accompany her while she fumbles through your treatment.

Saved my Life
After 3 years of not knowing what I had & local doctors' inability to diagnose the issue I was referred to the Cleveland Clinic & Dr. Albert. Within an hour Dr. Albert had it narrowed down to a few possibilities. She set-up tests that day & called me back late on a Friday to let me know the results. From there we set-up a plan of action to treat Cardial Amyloidosis. My left ventricle was working at 30%. One year later it had improved to 42%. A slight adjustment in medication was made & on 8-9-22 my ECHO came back at 50% (normal). At 30% my chances of having a productive life were sketchy now it is promising to say the least. I would highly recommend Dr. Albert.
